Travel Post: Camiguin's White Island

I have not been able to continue blogging about our Cagayan De Oro days since I am busy thinking about our new trip. Anyway, it ended last weekend so then I have now a time to tell you the last part of our tour.
During the third day of our trip, we were all so tired but we still have one last thing to enjoy in Camiguin - The White Island. It is said to be seen only on low tides (like Panglao Virgin Island in Bohol) but it is all gone during high tide. I am indeed so happy to see the small white island. I am really a beach bum who doesn't even know how to swim! Poor me! haha. I just love the sea, the sands and everything else. Haayy.. I hope I can always go to some places like these with no hassle at all.
So, here's some of the photos I/we took during our valuable time in White Island. We only have about 30-45 minutes to enjoy before we pack our things back to Cagayan De oro where we will have our plane back to Manila. See? so much things to do with such a small amount of time, :(

x My sister having the tour arranged
x Paras Beach Resort
x A view of the island while we were on our way
x Mom and my 2 yr old nephew playing on the sand
x yours truly :) background view are some of the volcanoes in Camiguin
x My nephew Angelov
x It's my boyfriend digging a hole. He always does that whenever he is on the beach, making traps!
x me and my mom. I had the best smile and she looks like she's cursing me!
x look at the sea water, it is so crystal clear. Please disregard my pose! :)

Right after this, we headed back to Cagayan De Oro chasing our flight to Manila. We took a ship to Misamis Oriental then a bus. It is about 2 hours of waiting. We arrived about 2pm in CDO mainland which is more or less an hour before our flight. Not much time to eat for lunch instead we went to airport straight away. It was one heck of a tiring day but it was a lesson though. :)

It's a wrap everyone! I'll be having another travel post soon. Haha! Hoping for an outfit post. :)

See you soon!

Travel Post: I'm on halfday Camiguin

As mentioned on my previous post, I am going to share some of the photos we've taken in Camiguin

We've gone thru Walkway to the Old Volcano and Stations of the Cross. We didn't go up anymore since it will eat up all our time to go up and down in the old volcano. We only have half of our day to enjoy Camiguin (where the title of the entry post is coming from) so we decided just to take some photos and went to our next stop.

Sunken Cemetery
We opted to go down either since there was only the cross that you can see aside from the coffins underneath the sea. Whew! I'm scared! lol!

Old Church Ruin
The church of the Old Catarman town was destroyed and partly submerged by volcanic debris during the eruption and formation of Mt. Vulcan from 1871 to 1875. Also known as Gui-ob Church, only the ruins of the church and bell tower remains of the old town (details from wikipedia).

 The signature pose! :)

Sto. Nino Cold Spring
I swear to God the water is soo cold. Was there any word colder than cold? then that's how you would describe this. I swam only for about 5 minutes. I can't take it! lol

Soda Water Pool
They called it Soda water since there were something underneath that makes bubbles like sodas (I forgot the name of that something! memory gap here lol! )

Ardent Hot Spring
Compare to Maquinit Hot Spring in Coron, this one is hot lesser than the latter so even kids will be able to enjoy the hot spring. When we got there, it was raining a bit. It has been around 7pm I think when we got back to our hotel in Paras Beach

I am currently in the hosptial as mom was sick. I mean she was doing fine but her sugar level went up to 400 which is really dangerous so we have to admit her asap. Good thing we have health card which will cover half of the expense. Hoping to get her out here soon. :)

That's for now my dear readers.

Travel Post: The Rest of Camiguin Tour

After a day of staying to Cagayan De Oro and a tiring moments with Kagay Team, we headed over to Camiguin Island for another tour. It was 4am when we decided to leave Travelers' Pod and had our way to the port. It took us an hour and a half to reach the most awaited Camiguin Island.
This is where we had the Katibawasan Falls I posted here.
So long with the story. Here's some photos we had with the rest of our trip in Camiguin.
After we had Katibawasan Falls, we then visited the Walkway to the Old Volcano and Stations of the Cross, Sunken Cemetery, Old church ruin, Soda Spring and Ardent Hotspring.

See? haha! Whenever I look on these photos, I laugh at myself! Believe me, I love jump shots  so when I get a chance, I always loose the oohmp look! My poise where gone but I think it's all worth it. I mean look at those, Aren't everyone's having a blast?
Its one of the roads we've gone by. There was a picturesque view of a mountain and the sea here so manong said "Stop over! Then Picture, picture!"
I remembered Baguio here since the way up is almost the same, quite, full of trees and mountain side is everywhere except for the sea.

I'll post the other pictures on a different entry if I may. I don't want this post to be too lengthy.
It's Saturday and hell I have to go to work! I lost the weekend off now that we have 7 work day! :(

Here are some of the photos we had in Katibawasan Falls at Camiguin Island. It was our first stop for the day. The water was so cold! Brr.. But I never let the chance be missed so even I am feeling cold, I still go through it. I didn't swim in the middle since they said it was deep.
