Batch 4's 10th Monthsarry Celebration

November 20, 2014 marks our 10th month stay here on the company I am working with along with the not-so-very-best-but-almost-there people that I have met when I started here. They were actually my batchmates.

As usual, we started as strangers but came friends to close friends along the way. I am very glad to be having them at this point of my life because they teaches me how to become independent in some ways. =)

I don't know where it started but we celebrate our monthsarry every 20th of the month. Although at some point, we opt to celebrate it passed the 20th, especially on a Friday after the 20th.

This time, we had it on a Monday.

Wala lang. Trip lang namin. Hahahaha. Hindi lang consistent talaga ang celebrations, honestly. Kung kelan lang maisipan and as long as applicable to everybody. What I love about these people? We make sacrifices for each other. Usually kasi, hindi kami sabay - sabay ng breaks/lunch so what we do is compromise. Diba that's the meaning of friendship naman?! Completely different people, different personalities pero you compromise so your friendship are all worth it. This is the advantage we have amongst the other batch in the office.

So since our monthsarries are celebrated like a baby before it turned a year old, we decided to have ambagan ulit so we can buy food to feast. I was in charged of the Pancit Bihon. I'll tell you about it on a different post. Then Sokey's in charge of Hotdogs, Ulam (Adobong Baboy), Loaf Bread and Juice. Hahahaha! Oo, sya lahat nagdala nyan. Meron pa ngang rice na dala eh.

As always, it's remembered in a very simple way - kainan lang sa pantry. More laughters, more fun and especially more months to celebrate. Lapit na first year anniversary namin so I'm hoping we could throw a mejo grand celebration. Heheh. =)

We're not complete in the photo. Well, disregard those two.. May kanya - kanya kasi silang drama sa buhay. Nonetheless, I am very, very happy we still get to eat like this together. I just hope na those other 2 doesn't take small things personally. You know, they have their own personal issues and hindi mo naman mapilit na makisama. They're good friends din, don't get me wrong. Mejo nagmama asim lang talaga sila that time. hahahaha! =)

I'll tell you about the Pansit in another post kasi I think, it deserves one. =)

Wala akong maisip na title =)

Days are shorter and nights are longer na!

Lapit na talaga ang Holidays!! Woooo….

Excited na ako because this time, I will be celebrating holidays with James. I mean, I celebrated it last year but with an agony so I didn’t get to enjoy it. (I’ll tell that story sometime in the future, promise!). What I really meant was, this time, James is so nakakatuwa na and somehow understands what is going on. Dati kasi, tulog lang sya maghapon eh. He was 2 months old lang kasi last Holiday Season.

The company that I am working for offered a no workday for us on the 25th and 31st of December which actually a privilege if you are working in BPOS. Some company doesn’t have a holiday at all. So since it is a very rare opportunity, I didn’t grab the chance din. Hahahaha!

Mother instincts kasi, pag double pay, pasok lang ng pasok. Hahahah!

At the same time kasi, naubos na yung leave ko because of James’ birthday eh.

But then, mag e earn pa naman kami so I filed a vacation na lang on the second of January para long weekend. In short, mas matagal kong makakasama si James. =)

I want us to bond more kasi. Nowadays, what we do is, as soon as he wakes up, he will try his best to wake me up din so we can go out together and practice walking. It was definitely a great bonding for the both of us kasi I get to see what makes him walk straight and what doesn’t. He’s used in walking tiptoed kaya mejo takot syang maglakad alone. Kelangan yan nakahawak sa kahit saan. Kahit sa short ko lang, maglalakad yan basta may hawak sya. NKKLK.

I heard a lot of people saying na “Bakit nakatingkayad yan maglakad?” “Ayaw ilapat yung paa sa lupa.” Which is sometimes quite annoying at gusto kong sabihan na “Kiber nyo ba?! Mind your own okay?!” hehehe. Pero I don’t kasi it wouldn’t be a worthy conversation at all. I’ll just make dedma and focus on James’ walking. Anyway, I am not in a hurry naman on his progress and milestones.

Sorry about this kind of nonsense post ha? Mejo windang ang brain ko eh hehehe.

And this little man, is what keeping me sane. I love you, 'Nak!! mwuah!

Trivia: This was actually a photo of the 3 of us (James, me and Daryl) kaya lang I cropped the photo kasi mejo ang pangit eh. Si James lang talaga ang nagdala. Heheh. All of us there were nakadila and Daryl was too much of a tongue out. Hahahahah.. Kaya si Jami na lang ang ipapakita ko sa inyo. =)

Meet up with Ninang Lara! =)

I have mentioned on my previous post that we went to Mall of Asia last weekend to meet my long, lost sister, Lara.

James met his Ninang Lara when he was a month old then now, he was a year old when they saw each other for the second time. Ninang Lara is so busy with her work kaya we can only go out once in a while. As in, once.in.a.while.

Our original call time was 4pm, that was after her shift. We were at Daryl’s house which was 1 short ride away from Mall of Asia. As a short background, Lara has become my best bud back in the time that I was working in Ortigas Area. We have been into two companies together which made us bonded a lot more. She knows the story of boyfriend/girlfriend stage namin ni Daryl. I actually forgot kung ano bang mga naikwento ko but mostly everything naman eh. She’s become the automatic Ninang of James although he didn’t have a baptism like those in Catholic. Lara generously want to have James as her inaanak which I really appreciate because I know this lady knows me very well. Love you badeng! =)

Lara arrived in Mall of Asia at around 5pm and we came around 7pm already.

Hahahaha!

I know, I had her waiting for me for so long. It was because we don’t have a driver that night. I mean we have been looking for Rupert to drive us to the Mall. I am starting to get pissed off kasi we can commute na lang naman if wala talagang mag da drive eh. Luckily, Rupert arrived shortly after. Daryl’s Mom went with us but we did go separate ways because we will be meeting Lara in one of the restos inside Mall of Asia.

We arrived halfway through their dinner. Lara was with her boyfriend so I didn’t bother too much that I was late. Hehehe.

We ordered right away (their treat daw) and made chickahan while waiting for our food. Jonas, Lara’s boyfriend played with James most of the time. Although it was their first time to see each other, hindi nailang si James sa kanya. Maybe because I had two brothers at home.

I actually was not able to take any picture of what we ate because we were so busy making chicka with each other. You know that feeling that you have a lot to say pero hindi kasya yung time allotted? It’s getting late na din kas. We took photos of our group before saying our goodbyes. They handed James a late birthday gift because they missed his birthday. Ninang Lara wasn’t able to take a leave kasi.

One thing that we noticed was, All of the crew in that resto was very suplado and suplada. As in! I think we asked for water more than 5 times. Whenever there’s a crew passing by, we would say, “Kuya/Ate, pahingi naman po ng water.” Some would say yes, but for some, like this lady, just looked on her shoulder without even stopping nor acknowledging what we have said and never went back to our table. We made sure naman that she heard what we have said pero it’s as if the ate didn’t hear anything. Hayyy! It was a major turn off talaga.

Anyway, I so missed Lara talaga. I am hoping to have our usual girl bonding/chickahan like we used to have couple of years ago.

Picture taken from Lara's tab =)
Looking forward to seeing you soon, Ninang Lara and hopefully, Lolo Pete. =)

My Little Driver

Mga bakla!!!!!!!!!!

I miss you na talaga! And I miss blogging. =)

I have been really insecure na to some Mommy Bloggers like me who were able to blog while taking care of their kids, managing their households, and for some, business pa nga. Hayy.. Now I understand those Mommies I know who always hope that there’ll be extra hours per day instead na 24 hours lang. Ang dami kasing ginagawa eh no?! Hahah.

Anyway, I have read Mommy Rackell’s post about her daughter Rhian turning 10 months old. I am so happy for the both of them. She’s able to track Rhian’s milestone.

As for me?

Anyare?

Haha. I don’t know. It’s like one day, I have lost all the time in the world to blog.

Yan talaga problema ko eh.. Heheheh.

Just like now, I am working while trying my best to get all my thoughts together so I can blog. Mahirap din talaga but I guess I have to start working on time management no?! Can anyone give me an idea how your usual day works? Do you have a list of things that you have to do? Or do you just memorize them? Hehehe. I tend to be forgetful at times pa naman.

Oh sha! Let’s chika time! =)

James’ Lola (Daryl’s Mom) was able to buy a brand new car days after his birthday. It was a good thing because we no longer have to ride a cab going home. James became really handful especially while we are on the road. He would do whatever he likes then he will get dizzy and of course, magsusuka. It was heaven sent that Daryl’s mom has a car so nakakapag hatid sundo na kami everytime we were going to their house. Not just that, there were times that I will be picked up from work too. Oh diba tipid na ako sa pamasahe?! Hahahaha..

I took this photo last weekend. We were going to Mall of Asia to finally meet my long lost sister, Lara. She has been my best bud at work for almost 3 years. We just got separated when I have to move from one company to the other because I find it very hard to travel from Las Pinas to Ortigas every day.

Daryl doesn’t have a driver’s license pa so while waiting for their neighbor who will drive for us, I had James sitting on the driver’s seat. He looks pro while sitting there, holding the manibela. It’s as if he was really driving. He was soooo cuttteee!!!! Maybe he got that from Tatay (my Dad) who was an FX Driver. He was a professional driver, worked abroad as a truck driver although he finished one contract lang kasi sobrang home sick sya, I think? That was based on my Mom’s story. Hindi pa kasi ako buhay ng mga panahong yu. Hehe. =)

Concentrating!! Straight ahead daw. =)
Are we there yet, Mr. Driver? Hehehe. =)
Checking the side mirrors is a must!! =)
Turning the wheel on the right, Bwelo lang daw sya. Hahaha! =)

Brooooommm!! Harurot!! =)
 Super Adorable isn't it?! Hehe.

There were some part where he was making kalikot on buttons and levers behind the manibela that turns on the wiper. OMG. He saw his Daddy doing that for once then he knows what to do na. Hayy.. Sobrang kulit but definitely, he was irresistable. =)

I should be working on documenting James’ milestone na talaga. Sooner or later, I will forget everything so I have to jot down every single memories.

Hoping it would be a start =)

P.s Mommy Joy! I don’t know if I have replied to your email last time?! Missing our chikas! Mwuah! =)
