Trying my DIY

As I have shown you on my previous post, I have tried this DIY. I wore it to work as well and people somewhat liked it. :) There were friends asking me to create one for them.
The first picture has a different shorts. I've tried it but I don't think that the fringe will get emphasize so I wore it with a plain denim shorts.

Thank you for appreciating it.. Hope you liked it though! :)

Habagat is gone! yehey! :)

Do-It-Yourself: Fringe Overload Top

Finally, I will be able to share with you guys the first ever DIY I made for myself. I am really looking forward to do such things for the longest time and it was just now that I had the opportunity of doing so. The original plan I had was to create an ombre or dip dyed shorts but I was not able to find any jeans or old shorts to use, at the same time, I've been looking anywhere to find a dye for the shorts but it was not available nearby. So sad :(
If you guys don't know, I have emotional attachment to anything and everything I own unless I accepted the fact that those things no longer fits me (clothes/shoes) so I am really having a hard time to get those old things out of my closet or even give it to someone until I had a lot of niece which are almost the same height of me! Haha. so I'm not being bothered of any things that I will buy because I can easily hand it over to them  or give them the clothes that are still in good condition.
Right, So what I have chosen was to DIY-ed an old blouse which I absolutely love because it was too comfy to wear, I usually wear it at home as "pambahay" or whenever I go somewhere near home. I thought about it a million times before I finally decided to change the usual blouse it used to be.
By the way, I got this blouse on an factory overrun bazaar for Php50 ($1 approx). There were two of them but this one was what I wore the most and thought it was too old already.

So here's what you need:

A shirt/top
Scissors of course! :)

So, here's the step by step guide of how to do it. I mean everyone knows already how simple it is but I will still let you see it ok? I insist! hahaha.

1. Cut the neck part closer on one side, and at least 1 and a half inch on the other side to give it an off shoulder look.

2. Cut the hemlines of the shirt (for both sides of the sleeves and the bottom part)

then this it how it should look like..

3. Starting at the sleeves, Cut it from the hem (before).

afterwards, make sure that you pull the one's you've cut a little bit so it will fall perfectly and won't look like you did it your own. :)

4. Do excatly the same on the bottom of the shirt/top on what you've done on the sleeves.

then the fifth and final step is..

Tadaaaaa! :)
Don't forget to wear your attitude and add some accessories on it. What I've added was the necklace I blogged about yesterday!

Hope you liked it! :)

Digital Traincase at Multiply

I would like to share with you guys what I've been up to this last couple of days. I was not able to take any outfit shots a lot of times due to my not-so-good-work-schedules. Most of the time, I see other bloggers took their outfit shots outside where the sunlight has it's best which I really envy because all I use on this outfit shots are
1.) My two year old digital camera and it's self timer from Olympus
2.) the bedroom space
3.)Photobucket.com (to at least edit some photos with not very good lighting or at least to have a standard lights and consistency on photos.)
By the way, I didn't go to work on friday afternoon because I was not feeling well so to stop the boredom at home, I had my best friend with me, My netbook! Whew! Thanks, Sun Broadband for the liable connection at home.
Right! I had a lot of story to tell ya?! Hahaha.
Going back on what the entry's title, I have been browsing multiply a lot nowadays because they offer variety of products for a reasonable price plus I was reading my ever trusted blogger TWR of Cheyser Pedregosa who's also buying stuff's there. See? she influences me a lot! Haha.
What I have ordered was a Lip Matte from Nyx at Digital Traincase. Basically, I did what I have to do then to my surprise, it arrived sooner that I expected. I ordered it Saturday morning about 1 am and it arrived Monday about 3pm (what I thought was it might take sometime). Since they were located in Ortigas, it came early.

To my excitement, I opened it. It made me happier because it is what I expected it to be. I tried it out and boom! just kept on pouting my lips hahaha! :)
Well, really I have never seen such thing before maybe because I am not a fan of a lipstick nor lip gloss or basically cosmetics in general. But what I have got now was different.
I applied it on my lips, it has a fruity smell which will make you feel like eating it, doesn't taste anything at all, and it wasn't heavy wearing it. I mean, it's as if I'm not wearing anything at all. I put it on and it stayed for couple of hours. I even ate during my 15 minute break and to my surprise, it was still on.The longer it stays, the beautiful it gets.
waaa.. I am definitely addicted to it.
It's as if I want to buy all the colors available! hahaha. I was bragging how happy I am during work hours and made my friend try it. Well she liked it too.. Better buy one ladies. It's a must have for girls who's always on the go, not fond of having a full make up on or just having an everyday look! :)

Oh By the way, the picture was the necklace from a friend/officemate, Cal. She said she saw it somewhere which reminds her of me so she bought it. She sold it to me for Php180 ($4 approx). Wasn't it nice? I wore it at work, stack it with an old necklace I wore on my previous outfit post (which Cal fixed for FREE because the lock was broken.. Thanks much Cal!)

I put on a heart shape, I don't know why.. Hahah!
It was raining all day! OMG.. How were you guys? Hope you're not experiencing floods and the likes! Stay safe.. :)

A Sunday

Had nothing to this Sunday. We supposed to have a massage done today with Daryl but we were told that they were fully booked so we had it re-scheduled for next week. So, as an alternative, we went to Sm Southmall after I had my nails done myself. Hehe!
I polished it with royal blue for a change to try something new since you can always see me in red or  african plum colors. I'll show you not so good photos since I am only using Nokia X2.

Bebe Daryl, trying out the Cheesetop Burger
Can't get enough of their bucket of fries! Oh, How I love it!
After less than 3 minutes.. heheh
A really finger lickin' good!!
Bebe smiling for me! Hehe.

Buying chicha for tonight..
Waaa.. This is how grocery looks like every sunday! A Long line at the cashier! :(
Here's another shot!

This is how my Sunday went. How about you?

A sudden movie date

Hello there guys! Rainy evening to everyone. Today was my dad's 60th and niece's 10th birthdy. We have no much of foods nor went out together to eat somewhere to celebrate so I have no pictures to show you as well. Hehe.
I accompanied my sister at SM Southmall to have their luggage fixed. We went to Samsonite to have it fixed but the type of wheel that got broke is now obsolete so they have no way fixing it at all. We then went to Mr. Quickie and said they will be able to so we left the luggage there and went to some stores to look for nothing (window shopping really! hehe.)
Until we decided to watch a movie "The Healing" of Vilma Santos. The movie was great. It was thrilling yet funny because of Pokwang and other supporting casts. It was a must watch movie. There were parts of the movie where it shows bloody and gross death of other characters but definitely not too much which I adore because not all of Filipino movies do that, I mean, it's either it will be cut or not shown at all. You know what I mean?!
The loveliest part I love was where the friends of Vilma, died. Heheh. FYI, I love horror, thriller movies and the likes specially those with the killings and ghosts. hehe.
The scariest movie I've watched was the Insidious. Even it was couple of days after me and Daryl watched it, I'm still scared. i can't even watch it alone.. :)

So what do you think about the movie? Tell me how you feel after.
Hope you are having a good weekend loves!

Unexpected Email!

I checked my emails today and see what I've got!

I have sent her an email about how I love her looks. I didn't even expect she will bother reading it, nor to reply on it but what I have got now was a surprise. While I am reading her response, I was teary-eyed. She inspired me with her photos and blog but she even got me more inspired with what she said specifically made for me! Oh dear! I am just glad..
Thank you Cheyser of TWR. You're heaven sent! More blessings to come your way.

I'll definitely have a good start of weekend. Hope I can pass it on to you guys! :)

To die for!

It was a normal day for us with my friend, Janina when we decided to have dinner at some random fastfood then went straight to Starbucks nearby. She said she wanted to eat Oreo Cheesecake (wondering what it looks like since the only oreo cheesecake I have tasted was with Sophie's Mom during bazaar at World Trade Center, which was a taste of heaven don't get me wrong. A must try! No wonder it was their best selling pastry! Yumm.. ).
She used our BT reward card which were our incentive goes. She bought a slice since I opt to eat just to taste it. When it came, I said to myself, so? 'tis is it? is this the Php115 she spent? Argh! A waste! ( Haha! A real time "kuripot" ).

Until I got the chance to taste it. Oh dear?! Is it the Php115? It's worth the taste really.  I don't exactly know how it taste like but definitely a slice will not just let you forget your name, but will keep you coming back for it! Aaah.. It's a piece of cake to die for! :) More please? I don't care with the diet plans now! Hahaha.
Better cut it here, I'm already daydreaming about it.
Hoping you guys have a good day. :)
