#VPartyMidnightSeries #BreakoutPH Event

Couple of weekends ago, I was invited to join the #VPartySeries Midnight Mysteries. It was a partnership between Fox International Channel, Victoria Court and Breakout Philippines.

It was my very first time to be invited to an event like this and I am pretty much excited since I can get to bring another two companions with me! Yey!! I tagged along Daryl and his cousin Rayca.

I exchanged emails with Tracey, my contact person as she made me choose the room that I want. If you can remember, there were a total of 5 themed rooms that you can choose from. I originally picked The Bat Cave Room however, it has been occupied so I have to choose another room which was The Asgard Room. I was told I’ll be with another blogger. I originally thought that it'll be just me and my companions but then, it'll be so much fun to meet a new blogger diba?

We were running 15 minutes late and I we ran out of parking space. Good thing, the Kuya Guard allowed us to illegally park sa bangketa. Hahaha! I also had another child companion (daryl’s newphew) and thankfully, he was allowed to get in. There’s a movie marathon happening outside so your companions who weren’t going inside the rooms were allowed to stay and watch horror movies.

Set up on Victoria Court Ground

We were given our stubs for food (total of 4) and waited for our turn since they were still preparing the rooms pa. They were running late on schedules too. After a while, we were then allowed to enter The Asgard Room in one of Victoria Court’s suite rooms. Mixed emotions filled me – thrilled, scared, exited, and happy.I found out that I am with another Mommy Blogger Donna of Pinay Mom's Life. It was my first time to meet her though I wasn't sure if we have been to other blog events. She was with her kids naman.

Movie for companions

As we get in, we were given instructions plus a blindfold. We were told not to take off our blindfold unless told. We went inside a very dark room and we can only hear footsteps!!! I was so scared but happy since I can get to experience something that I can only watch on screen. I kept on thinking that it's just an acting if everything gets a little scary. I was trying to make everything fun as well but then daryl's cousin was so scared she wanted to go home na agad. I was like "kakarating pa lang natin!".

Here's what you see upon entrance
We were given instructions later on and found out that it was Daryl's cousin who were picked to go away from the group and was asked to stay in another room. It was so funny since we were asked to scare the hell out of her. hahaha! We found and her blind folded and looking so scared so tinakot namin, touching him on his arms and hair and when she can't take it anymore, she removed her blind fold which she was asked never ever removed it. She was saying "Ate Jen uwi na tayo, natatakot na ako." I can't help but laugh because she was really scared of what's going on. Hahaha! I don't mean to be rude to her but later on, I told her not to be scared since it's all just an acting. With that, I saw she somehow looked calm and no longer scared. :p

We were able to find some clue written on papers and acetates. It was sort of quotes jumbled. Mainly, the game was all about teamwork and be clever at times.

I won't detail what exactly happen inside as I want you all to have the same mixed emotions I felt inside BreakOut PH. I can't wait to experience other room that BreakOut PH has to offer. My officemates and I were planning to go there before the year ends. =)

By the way, we didn't win. =( But then, I had so much fun on the event and I can't wait until next Halloween. hahaha!

They also provided us pick-a food that we munched on while watching a horror movie.

Thank you so much Victoria Court and BreakOut PH for having us. =)

Blogapalooza 2015

As I have mentioned on my previous post regarding blogapalooza, I had the chance to go but I had a very limited time because Jami was with me. I was carrying him the whole time because his stroller was so bulky, I can't bring him and his stroller together. That same time, my MIL doesb't have a car yet that we can borrow and riding taxi from Las Pinas to Taguig was so expensive.

Anyway, I planned to go early however, I was so busy that weekend I fortgot to prepare my calling cards. So I printed it out that morning, waited for Daryl to come back home from an errand then went straight to a birthday party. It was around 6pm when I reached 1esplanade.

I signed up using their ipad na. High tech na compared to last year and it doesn't need more people to register everybody. It was so easy too, I was done in less than a minute. I was given a sort of ID where I can write my name on.

The first booth that I saw was Evporia. This company compiles shops in Instagram into on app where you could purchase stuffs. This makes you feel comfortable in online shopping too knowing that shops were pre-screened and proven legit.

I had trouble going around since most of the booth wouldn't want to talk to you unless you talk to them. I was quite hesitant at first like what I felt last year kaya sobrang konti lang ang naiuwi, hindi ko din tuloy nai-market ang blog ko back then. Anyway, this year was different since I knew a few moms who were there. I saw Lally of Lallysreflection.com and Jho of thereyoujo.com. I had communication with some bloggers pero I wasn't able to make on our scheduled time due to another commitment. Luckily, Nheng of Nhengswonderland.blogspot.com stayed until the end of the program so I had someone to talk to. She also gave me "kapal ng fez" to be proactive.

Anyway, I have been to a lot of booths after meeting with Nheng. Here they are:

Food Panda booth was there although I didn't get the chance to join their online contest. I don't have data until later that night. Booo!

Hotel Quickly has an on going contest for bloggers as well. Download the app for you to get a freebie. I wasn't able to join too since my phone was running out of memory. Booo number two!

Booth of Bambu, one of the major presentor.

Visited Chips Delight booth #sharethedelight and got the chance to take home one of their product! Yummy promise! I was munching on it one time while reading Yes! Magazine. :)

Lactium booth gave free assessment of your stress level. I was surprised to find that I am highly stressed daw! Gosh! Feeling ko I was so stressed that week because of consecutive events!

I forgot this brand kasi I wasn't able to get near. They have an ongoing raffle, unfortunately, I came in late so I wasn't able to sign up. Boo number three!

This snowman is from Ace Water Spa booth. Look how generous they were, they gave me a lot of 2016 calendar and two mugs! hahah! =)

Cebu Pacific Booth. Sayang I wasn't able to make it on their raffle to Fukuoka, Japan!

Aquabest booth gave out their water sampler. Thanks Nheng for the photo. =)

Free caricature with Sosro fruit tea booth! Thanks Kuya for your wonderful artwork. =)

Now here are my take home from Blogapalooza 2015.

And the lovely mommies that I have met.

Nheng of Nheng's Wonderland and Lally of Lally's Reflection
Although for me, mas konti yung mga brands that participated this year and the venue was smaller than before, I would still be happy to go to future blogapalooza. It's more fun this year because I have met mommies along the way! :)

Till next year..

AV Wishlist

No wonder that I am updating you of something that I am doing now, It is because Im on leave for me and my boyfriend's 6th year anniversary on July 24th. Thanks to Globe Telecom for binding us together! haha. Yes, we met through text. We've been schoolmates, we even have our rooms near each other and have some common friends but our path never crossed until we graduated from high school. We had a common friend who introduced us to each other. She was my childhood friend. So then that's when the story began. :)

Anyway, I've been looking on some articles in google and reading some blogs about fashion and beauty. I am so curious as to where they bought those clothes that I don't even see in malls. Since I have plenty of time doing nothing today, I was so patient reading couple of other blogs and one of the things I've noticed were SHOES! As I've read (one of my fashion inspiration) Kryz Uy's blog, she said that shoes are very important for her as it makes or breaks a style. I found a website that most of fashion bloggers buy their shoes which was Asian Vogue

Here are some of the shoes I liked the most.

*photos from Asian Vogue's multiply site.

Lovely and colorful platforms.
Aztec Print wedges
I soo like the print. :)
Love the combination of red and black! :)
This was so girly. Love love :)
Im just inlove with red shoes. it makes your feet whiter! :)
The basic! :)
This one will bring the best out of your rock chic image! :)
As you noticed, I'm really into red and black shoes, a colorful one depends on it's styles. So, these are my wishlist from Asian Vogue.

Which one do you prefer?

Till my next update Loves! :)
