S&R SM Southmall

A long time ago, we discovered that the S&R New York Style Pizza will open in SM Southmall. I was really glad because I don't have to go to Alabang or Aseana to try their famous pizza.

Fast forward to couple of months, we tried their pizzas and when we craved for one, S&R is definitely included in our choices.

Jami and I loved their Bavarian Filled Churros. I liked how the pizza was served in a huge slice. Definitely filling and cost saving. =)

Since I was on a diet during our visits, I can only consume up to 1/4 of the pizza slice and let Daryl eat the rest. Hahah!

The place gets pretty crowded most of the time. Probably because people are so happy they can finally taste S&R pizza without going in their groceries. They have a place where you can get unlimited ketchup, mustard, onions etc. S&R doesn't only offer pizza but they carry burgers and chicken meal as well.

After our merienda, we roam around SM Southmall and saw the miniature Eiffel tower.

Sobrang likot!

Look at the photo! Grabe he grows up really fast! He looked like 7 years old in this photo. Jami got his Daddy's height and body type. Parehong payat pero matatangkad. Well, I'm glad he is kasi I am the shortest in the family. I am just hoping na mejo tumaba taba naman ng konti. Sobrang payat kasi but definitely not sickly (thank God for that!). He's about to start school this year so I am really excited! =)

A weekend at Austin Land, SM Southmall

Two weekends ago, I brought Jami to Austin Land again. After my last post here, we never had the chance to go back. Most of the time kasi, we just play inside Timezone with Daddy. Ayaw kasi nya to accompany Jami inside the play area, gusto nya ako, eh there were times that I am wearing a skirt so hindi pwede. The perfect timing came (just Jami and I) so I let Jami play inside.

He probably forgot the first time he was there kasi he didn't mention any of it during our stay.

We paid Php150 for one hour of play. We brought along our socks to save 100 bucks. Adult companion is free by the way unlike any other play grounds.

I know I had my review of the place last time so I won't elaborate on our experience anymore. The place didn't matter to me that much since it was the experience that we value the most.

I was surprised that Jami was so scared to go inside the tunnel. I don't know why but he insisted not to. He was scared so we skipped that. He played with the ball pit, the big blocks and  slides for small kids (scared of the big slides).

so proud of his blocks
I am just a little worried because there were kids talaga that has a not so amazing attitude. There was this one who doesn't want to share toys, she said "That's mine!". Napatulan ko tuloy ng slight, sabi ko, "It wasn't even yours!". Hahahah! There were times talaga na hindi mo mapigilan pumatol sa kids na mejo maldita eh diba? Sorry if it's a little offending with other Mommies pero kasi diba, you have to tell your kids to share specially hindi naman sa kanila yung toys or even the place. Heck! I paid the same amount. But anyway, I am so proud of Jami because when you say he can't have it, nakikinig naman. I always give him something to play with and make him stay away from those kids na may attitude.

Aside from that, we sure had fun and I am hoping to have more Mommy and Jami bonding like this.

Will I recommend the place? Yes. It was really small so you won't be tired trying to catch your kids compared to those big play areas that we've been to. It's perfect for a quick side trip when you go to malls and ran out of things to do or just want to rest while the kids run around safely. =)

Derma Visit

Last weekend we were able to visit a Dermatologist for the first time. I was really worried that me and Jami had a "Ringworm".

Check nyo si google what the ringworm is.

Kita nyo na?

Yeah, exactly like that. The appearance is similar to mine and Jami so I got worried! Mine looked really serious and itchy. I have to postpone the visit until last weekend because I have to work on weekdays. I also noticed that it got 100% bigger on Jami's arm so we really have to go.

On the day of our visit, mine looked healed. Natanggal na yung skin but still gets very itchy. So I have decided to get Jami checked instead of us both.

We went to SM Southmall in the afternoon and decided to have our late lunch there.

While waiting for our food

We ate at Mang Inasal na lang para unlimited Rice :D
Wag kayo mag alala, si Daryl lang ang nag unli rice. Pramis! Hahaha.

We headed straight to Casa Medica Inc and waited for the doctor to arrive. We realized that she was running late and we were at number 11 so we decided to roam around at Cyberzone. I was trying to check how much yung mejo cheap na tablet for Jami but found out na even Huawei costs Php5,000. Grabe ang mahal na ng bilihin nowadays. Lol! We checked some phones too like Oppo F1s and it looked really nice, I mean the Camera.

After around 30 minutes, we went back to the clinic and was delighted that the Dermatologist have arrived. We had some bonding moments while waiting for our turn. If you wish to check it, follow me @its_mommy_jen on instagram.

When we were called, I showed Jami's alleged "ringworm" and was told that it wasn't a ringworm. It was a bacterial infection so she prescribed a soap and a cream that we should use for 5 to 7 days. I was also told that if it got worse after 3-4 days, we should bring Jami back to her.

I was so surprised with the amount of the cream and soap! Grabe lang. Hahaha! Although I somehow expected it that it will be expensive, na shock pa din ako. Lol! It costs Php595 for both but then, if it's for our wellness naman diba, then it's nothing. I was asked to put the same cream to cure the wound.

I am so glad to report that's it's getting better (dapat lang!). I am hoping mine won't leave a scar kasi obvious eh. :)

Weekend Shopping Loots

The weekend that passed was a busy one for my family.

Jami bumped his head and had a very big bukol on his forehead last Wednesday. So kawawa talaga kasi ang laki ng bukol nya, nag mukha na syang avatar. =(

Anyway, I didn't bother so much kasi I trust that Nanay and Tita Fraulene would take care of Jami very well. I know that if the untog was really worst then they would bring him immediately to the hospital.

I got worried last Friday since his bukol showed a big bruise in the middle. I know I just have to bring him to his pedia to have it check for sure. I didn't go to work so I could go with him to the clinic.

Warm compress courtesy of Daddy
We were told to warm compress his forehead to lessen the bukol. His nose bridge quite swollen because of the big bukol. Look at his eyes, can you see that it looked like he was punched in the eyes because of the blood going down the sides of his nose bridge until under his eyes. Sobrang kawawa naman. Hayyy..

The doctor saw that he was his usual self - malikot, hyper and masayahin so she opted not to order a CT Scan for Jami. She said to observe him in the coming days. As long as he's not sleepy than usual, not vomiting, he should be good.

After our pedia visit, I was planning to go to SM BF since I haven't been there, timely they were on 3 day sale last weekend and I really want to check it out. However, since it is just me and Jami, I don't think it will be a good idea. I may not enjoy going there because of the non-stop habol and karga with Jami. I decided to go to SM Southmall instead which is a walking distance from pedia's clinic.

When we got there, I was so hungry so we ate first at Jollibee thinking that Jami would eat spaghetti.

Look at his nose, mejo namamaga pa.
After a while, we headed to SM Department Store to check if there were clothes for toddlers that are on sale. I don't want to buy clothes in SM kasi na hindi naka sale eh. I usually wait for one. =) Timely, I was given a P500 SM GC that I decided to use. We kept on roaming around from kids section to check what would best fit to Jami. I used in seeing him with shorts that was hand me downs mostly from his older cousins. This would actually a first time to buy a short or a pants for him. I am in a constant lookout of a nice pants for Jami. I want him to wear a jeans that's well fitted. Well, most of their pants were not on sale so I skipped that part muna. I just want him to wear something new naman since most of his shirts and pants were given to him on his first birthday pa. I guess it will be the best time naman na to get him new clothes. =) Besides, sooner or later, he would choose what he will wear so why not take advantage of the now. hehe.

I forgot to take photo of the clothes pero we got to wore it the next day for a Jollibee party. =)

Shirt P159.20 ; Shorts P200 both from Jus Tees ; Shoes from Tough Kids - everything from SM Dept Store.
The top was at 20% less and the pants was on 50% so I guess it was a good buy na din. I was planning to have him use his new shoes that I bought in a bazaar which I will be blogging about next, however, mejo maliit the size that I got so I have to replace it muna. He was wearing his hat that he wore here. I forgot to make him wear his hat, kulang tuloy yung #DwyaneJamesOOTD nya. Hehehe!

While I was thinking if I'll buy him his new shorts and top, I have decided to check the ladies section as well. I want to see if I can find something that I can wear on a children's party. As I have told you, all my clothes were luma na so one of my goals nowadays is to at least replace them and basically make them retire na from my closet.

As I was about to give up, I saw this really cute rompers in one of SM Department Stores' rack. I immediately fell in love. The only problem is, they come in Small and Medium sizes only. Anticipating that my size is Large (yes, I was kind of trying to accept it na. Pero hindi pa naman fully! hehe), I became sad knowing that they have no stocks left so I guess I have to hope that they would fit on me. =)

Mommy! I can't open the Vita Cubes pack!!
Jami was making kulit.
Hmmm... Yummy!

I placed him to SM's cart so I could roam around hehehe! We can't bring his stroller with just the two of us since it's very bulky. He was happy naman to be seated there. hehe! I just have to make sure that I won't leave him alone and always tell him to "sit down" as in maya't maya I am reminding him to sit down. I am so glad that he listens to me naman. When I have to go down to check what's underneath each rack, I just have to hold the basket so I would know if he's moving or doing something.

Anyway, I ended up getting the romper on the first photo which I think fits the best among the 3 styles that I got. The Second one was a little small for my bust area. Sayang lang because I like it as well. Hindi halatang malaki ang tummy. =) I skipped the last one. It was a dress and mejo masikip din on the bust area. Sayang lang because I like it as well for a weekend get up. =)

Later on, I still kept on going back to kids section to check naman which gift will we give to the birthday celebrant. While browsing thru, I felt that Jami was so silent and checked on him. I saw him like this..

Mommy!! I am getting bored na!!
Hayy naku, lalaki ka nga talaga, Anak!

Munching on Vita Cubes while Mommy was so busy. :p
Side kwento:

I was in the cashier na paying our items. I gave my SM advantage card and was reminded na expired na since July 2015. I have to renew since sayang naman yung mga points ko there. Anyhow, I was looking for my purse and searching my ATM since I planned to pay using my debit card. Unfortunately, I forgot that I gave my savings ATM card to Nanay and forgot to get it back. I was panicky since I don't have ample amount of cash on hand. Buti na lang, I remember having the P1k I kept in my bag for our house rent. Hahahaha! Borrow muna. I was also saved by the SM GC, whew! Thank God. Hehehe.

Mommy Jen was so happy with the purchase since one of my goals are on track. =)

Kayo? What are your recent loots?

Magic Stick - The Real Korean Ice Cream

Two weekends ago, when we had Jami's vaccine, we were able to try the Magic Stick in SM Southmall. I have been seeing this stall in SM Mall of Asia for quite a while and I was wondering what are those yellow-J-shaped thingy na nakasabit sa mga gilid ng stall.

I have read somewhere that it was their ice cream cone pala. I thought ang laki naman ng cone. I am not a fan of ice cream so as the cone (I mean, I eat it of course, but I can live without it) so I didn't bother trying it out.

During the time that we were trying to get Jami's attention out of Timezone, we have decided to finally try it.

I was a little surprise with the price of P50 but then Daryl and I decided to give it a go.

I asked what are the flavors available expecting that there might be some variety but was told they only have it in chocolate flavor and vanilla. Really, what made me buy this expensive ice cream was the cone. =)

Uh-oh! Someone hates waiting so make it quick, Kuya!
Tadaa!!! J is for Jen
Mommmy!!!! I want it......
Ahhhmmmmmm....
Verdict:

Pros

1.) Jami loved it. He loved the cone na parang wafer pero sturdy enough to hold the ice cream inside.
2.) The ice cream wasn't too sweet so agree ako to give some to Jami.
3.) I thought the ice cream was only on both holes of the J pero there was an ice cream inside the cone din. Perfect for snacks. =)

Cons

1.) I find it expensive. I can buy ice cream for only P15 or even P10 in Mcdonalds and I guess Jami would still like the cone.

So are we going to buy it for snacks next time? I guess so.. Maybe once in a while =) It was a good try though. Besides, my son loved it so ano pa bang irereklamo ko?! =)

The Weekend that Was!

Last weekend, we were scheduled a vaccine shot for Jami.

Daryl went out Saturday morning and went back in the afternoon so we can go to Alabang Medical Center in Almanza. I was just really glad that we were catching up on Jami's vaccine that he missed last year pa. Thanks to her Lola for making this happen. =)

Anyway, when we got to the clinic, Jami was so makulit, he's all over the place. Daryl and I were exchanging sharp looks as to who would follow Jami. Hahaha! I was not in mood that day since I have my period and Daryl had a swollen foot when he slipped last week. Ayun, hirap sya maglakad so hindi nya mahabol ang anak nya. I was just glad that Dra. Medina's daughter was there (aged 4, I think) who kept on following Jami and would make saway if he would touch anything that belongs to the clinic like their telephone, mouse, cabinets where files were placed etc.

When we were called, Jami doesn't want to go inside the room kasi he knows what will happen next. Takot na sya sa doctor!! waaaa...

We just have to hold him tightly pero sobrang lakas din nya. Nakadalawang tusok tuloy si Dra. Medina. =(

Right after our clinic visit, we headed to SM Southmall just to eat. I saw this really cute sneaker pero nag warla kami ng jowa ko kasi inuuna ko pa daw ang shopping. Gaahhd! Di lang nya alam, nabubusog ako kakatingin sa mga magagandang damit at sapatos. Hahaha! So since war na nga, we didn't know where to eat so we went to the nearest place na nasa harap namin, Mcdonalds. Hayyy, I wanted to try something new since SM Southmall opened a lot of new restaurant na. =(  Maybe next time.

He was acting as if he was drinking this! So adorable.. =)

After we ate, I just went straight to Terranova to check some remaining sale items. They have all their summer collections on sale. I also checked Cache - cache but I can't find something that I could wear on a wedding this weekend. =(

Don't mess with me!!!!

I was so shock with this photo. Jami does that everytime we ask him to smile. Grabe eh! Simangot kung simangot. Mukhang galit sya sa Daddy nya that time. Hahahah! I was in Terranova kasi while Jami and Daddy were roaming around. =)

Going back to the shopping, I was so sad wala akong makitang maganda, (or maybe not in the mood because of my period), we headed na lang to Timezone since Jami doesn't want to leave Toy Kingdom. He was riding the bike that was displayed outside the store. When we got inside (I was looking for a cheap toy we could buy) he wanted to open the boxes of cars. He kept on shouting "cars! Cars! CARSSS!!" so we have to carry him out of the store and went to Timezone na nga lang instead.

Mommy and Jami driving
After 2 minutes, Jami wanted to go elsewhere na. Hayy... toddler nga naman! Geez, lapit ko na sa terrible two stage! I really have to take note na iwasan na ang Toy Kingdom at Timezone! Hahaha. Before kasi, I can go here without the drama eh ngayon, required na na sasakay si Jami sa mga rides!

Jami loves cars so much!!

Cars and more cars!

Concentrating on the game!

We had a very simple weekend. On a Sunday, we stayed at home lang. We had dinner at 11pm na. I invited Daryl to go to Northgate in Alabang to try Big, Better Burger pero when we got there, wala na (or maybe close because it's a Sunday night). And since it's so late, no other restaurants were open except Mcdonald's AGAIN!! Mapupurga na ata ako but then it gave me a chance to try their new Mcrib Deluxe. =)

Mcrib Deluxe (forgot the price)
We ate at the new Mcdonald's in front of SM Southmall. I was so glad kasi it's bigger with McCafe, Play area for the kids and Drive-thru. =) I also had the chance to eat their chicken and I would say something has changed. Mas naging juicier. The last time I ate one, parang hindi naman ganon ang lasa. Anyway, it was for the better tasting chicken naman. =)

Kayo? How did you guys enjoyed your long weekend?

Terranova Sale Loot

After our tiring afternoon at Fun Ranch, on our way home, I asked Daryl if we could go to SM Southmall. Madadaanan kasi namin before going home so I want to see kung anong meron. Kaliwa't kanan kasi ang mga signage that they are on sale.

Me: Babe, pwede ba tayong dumaan ng SM?

Daryl: Anong gagawin mo dun?

Me: Wala. May titingnan lang ako.

Wala naman syang nagawa so we went there. I know where to go that time, Terranova. They have been on sale since forever and I want to see what they can offer. It wasn't my first time to shop there and seriously, when they say they are on sale, bagsak presyo talaga.

When I got there.. I checked every corner until I saw their pants. I have been wanting to buy a new pair of jeans since lst month dahil hindi nga ako makapag dressdown. I have the feeling that I need it because (1) I am wearing the same jeans once every week and (2) my current jeans are either maluwag na or sobrang luma na.

Nagpalpitate talaga ako when I saw that their jeans are on sale for only P595. Not bad! Deadma tuloy sakin ang SM clearance sale pero I want to go back there to see what they have. I just hope sale pa sila when another payday comes. Hehehe!

I am really confused about my size. Before I got pregnant, kabisado ko yan. I know size 28 not stretcheable jeans fits me perfectly and tops can fit me in small to medium size (depending on the clothes fabric). Hindi naman kasi ako sobrang payat before dahil tabain talaga ako. I checked some of their clothes and most of them are priced from P695 to P195 only.

Naglaway ako mga ateng!! Pero nag hunos dili ako kasi I know I am on a very very very strict budget. I was just suppose to buy a pair of jeans lang talaga. But then, I am just a woman who's shopping is weakness so let's check my loot for that weekend. =)

Slim fit jeans from P1,295 to P595

Loose top from P695 to P195

Maong skirt P895 (previous sale price) to P495
I was not suppose to get the skirt na because I wanted to buy more tops sana that I can mix and match with jeans and skirts that I have at home pero ang tagal ko ng naghahanap ng nice maong skirt so I bought this too. =) It was stretchable by the way so I was having a second thought na dapat yung smaller size ang kinuha ko para mas fit. Hehehe!  The top doesn't look appealing pero maganda yan when worn. I loved it because it's loose pero fitting on the arms. The jeans naman fits perfectly (size M) I don't have to wear a belt kasi it hugs my butt and thighs the way I want it to be. =)

While I was on the fitting room, I was rushing because Daryl might look for me eh hindi ako nakapagsabi na nasa fitting room ako because he went out of the store. Ewan ko ba why men are so bored when women were doing their shopping no?! kakainis lang. Hehehe.

By the way, Terranova sale clothes that are for basic and everyday needs perfect for office wears na hindi sobrang formal. Mga laid back style which I really like =)

At dahil excited ako, I wore them agad sa office! hahaha.

Here's my Outfit of the Day last Monday.

Selfie sa mirror
Sorry about the quality of the photos ha?! Most of them were taken inside our room sa hindi natural light. Mejo shy pa din kasi akong mag OOTD shots eh. Saka na pag madami na akong damit ulit hehehe! =) I will try my best to have a better quality of my photos moving forward.

I posted this photo on IG (@its_mommy_jen)

Did you have the same feeling? Hehehe.

So that's my loot for the last weekend. I hope to be able to buy new stuff to replace those clothes na sobrang luma na. I hope they can stay on sale forever. =)

How about you guys? Do you have a recent buy?

Mary Grace Cafe Black Velvet Mini Cake

As I have mentioned to you, I was really happy about the result of my Index Salon Rebonding Experience.

There's was just one thing..

I felt so engot having my hair treated on my birthday.

Imagine?? Nag celebrate ako ng birthday sa salon?!

Goshh.. Dapat talaga it's the day before eh.

I spent seven hours of my birthday, sitting down sa salon!

Hayyy..

Anyway, lesson learned na lang yan.

I just felt tiny tiny sadness because I went home around 7:30pm na and in a matter of hours, tapos na ang maliligayang araw ko! Hahaha.

Well, good thing, the mall is still open so Daryl and I went to Amber in front of SM Southmall (which by the way closes at 9pm on Mondays to Sundays except Holidays (7pm) and opens as early as 8am) to buy Spaghetti and pichi-pichi in cheese. Grabe yung dalawang yun lang, solve na ang birthday ko!

While waiting for our order, I excused myself so I can go to SM Southmall. I want to buy a cake since it's my day anyway. As I entered SM Southmall, I felt na parang stranger na ako! Before, parang bahay ko na yun eh. I make tambay there on days na walang magawa. It's like one of my happy place lalo na kapag sale. I first went to Watson to buy blusher to add on to my make-up kit. Eh katabi lang ng Watson yung Forever 21, tinawag ako so pumasok ako. I checked the clothes there. Mejo nagmadali lang ako kasi the mall is about to close na and Daryl was waiting for me. Baka mag Super Saiyan sya pag matagalan ako. hehehe! I just told myself na babalik ako next time. =)

I checked Red Ribbon for their cakes pero they only have limited cakes na so I went to Goldilocks pero same lang. puro Chocolate Mousse and Triple Chocolate Cakes na lang ang meron. Ayoko naman ng mga flavor na yun, besides umay na talaga ako sa Red Ribbon and Goldilocks cake since last year, halos monthly kami nag ke cake dito sa office.

I decided to go in Foodstreet at the back of the mall to see what Tous Les Jours can offer pero I can't find their store. I saw Cafe Mary Grace. They have mini cakes which I liked but super small naman for 8-10 persons. I went to Starbucks thinking they have a cake pero waley. I went back to Cafe Mary Grace and bought their Black Velvet Mini Cake so I could compare it with Conti's Black Velvet during Daryl's birthday.

When we got home, wala ng picture-picture, lamon agad kami. The spaghetti was gone in seconds along with pichi-pichi. I took the mini cake out so I could have a birthday picture with the cake but my phone is out of battery. Hayyy... =( Good thing, Kuya had his phone so ininterrupt ko muna sya on his COC battles hehehe! =)

Jami poking the sides of the cake
Mandatory picture with the cake

Blowing the cake na!! =)

**sorry about the poor quality of the photo. That's my next agenda.. =)

It was really funny because Jami tries to immitate everything that he hears.

He heard everyone saying "Happy Birthday".

Jami: Bodey... Bodey

So cutie!! =)

Still surprise that he can talk na. Parang kahapon lang eh puro iyak at dede lang ang alam heheh. =)

Anyway, the cake didn't disappoint naman. The cake is moist and is not too sweet and the cheesecake and filling was tamang tamis lang din. There chocolate on top, hindi ko masyadong bet. Hehe! Parang buttercream kasi eh hindi ako fan ng butter creams.

Difference with Black Velvet Cheesecake of Conti's to Cafe Mary Grace Mini Black Velvet Cheesecake:

I noticed that the cake is kinda small (Mini nga eh). Their Mini Cake is good for 1-2 persons lang while the Cont's was 3-4, I guess. There's no question sa taste. It was really great not too sweet. I was surprised to see it covered in white while it's called Black Velvet Cheesecake. The one in Conti's was white with smll chocolate sprinkles on the side naman. The Conti's was a lot taller and thicker for a difference of P200+. I guess Cafe Mary Grace should make their cakes a little bigger since people are happy to pay a little extra for a better cake. =)

I want to try Cafe Mary Grace's Diner naman if given a chance. Maybe next time.. =)

Review | Austin Land, SM Southmall

Last weekend, I was planning to bring James to Fun Ranch in Alabang so we could try their playdium. From the time I saw Fun Ranch back in 2013, I was 2 months pregnant by then, I wanted to bring James na there so he can play there. Actually nyan, pati ako gusto kong itry! Hahahaha! Toddlers 3 years old and below requires an adult companion with an extra charge so I want to take advantage of it. Hindi kasi ako nakapaglaro sa ganyan nung bata pa ako eh! Hahaha.. Playground lang kasi talaga sa park ang napuntahan ko with matching kakalawangin na slide. Hahaha! #90sbaby

That Saturday afternoon, My sister, Tita Grace went to our house along with her kids. I told her of my plan pero sabi nya, she’s too lazy daw to go there tapos mainit pa daw. Ayaw nya mag loose ng pound or two, kaloka sya! She said, since they are going to SM Southmall daw, I can have James to try the Austin Land inside Timezone, it’s a lot cheaper pa daw. It’s around 3pm na so I think it won’t be very useful to go there. Sobrang hapon na kasi given that we have to commute pa going there. Malapit lang naman but the traffic would require more time pa.

I remember seeing the Austin Land in Southmall before when James was months old but I didn’t pay much attention to it because James was too young to enjoy the place. Karamihan kasi ng nakikita ko dun, puro kids ages 2 and above na so feeling ko hindi pa talaga time for James. I feel timezone din kasi is too noisy and super crowded pag weekends kaya as much as possible, iniiwasan kong pumunta dun.

Anyhoo, that was changed last weekend. After our lunch at Jollibee, (which I suggested so James can see Jollibee a little longer plus, I can earn more points using my Happyplus), I inquired on their rates. Php100 on weekdays and Php150 on weekends. I hesitated a little kasi maliit lang ang place pero it would be a good start naman for James. At least he would be able to give it a try at the same time, I’ll find out on how he would react on a place like this.

I was told to sign the paper which would serve as a waiver that I let my child go inside. Austin Land requires an adult companion for toddlers for FREE which I think was great. I saved Php125 that day! They also have to take picture of James before entry. I brought socks  for me too anticipating that I’ll look after James while playing inside. With that, I saved another Php50 from buying socks from them! Yeah!

As soon as James and I came in, I have to make him sit down so I can take off his shoes but he won’t. Baka excited na din ang bagets with the new environment. I wore my socks too and soon after, I let James walk around the place. I carried him to the pool plenty of small balls as I know he would like it very much.

True enough, he started throwing all the balls with matching gigil on his face.

Hahaha!

I captured that on video and it was really funny. Parang galit nag alit sya somewhere while throwing all the balls that he can get. I also have to look after my nephew, Andy, Tita Grace’s son. Hindi kasi pinayagan si Alex, my niece kasi she’s only 10 years old. Dapat daw kasi 18yo pataas ang mga adult companion. Hindi naman bantayin si Andy because he’s 4yo and can handle himself somehow.

OK, I’ll let the picture do the talking na lang. =)

Just got in!!

Looking at other kids playing
At this point, he got the hang of it then started throwing the ball. Good thing walang tinatamaan dahil kami lang yung tao sa place.

I brought him to this part because I want him to try the maze and the tunnels. To my surprise, he climbed on this thing on his own!!! I am really shocked!! Looking at it, parang madulas and I am kinda scared na baka mag slip sya at malaglag pero he made it to the top!! I want to do cartwheels dun eh, hindi nga lang ako marunong mag cartwheel! Hahahah..

At this point, mejo nagsisi na akong umakyat din ako sa tunnel kasi parang feeling ko di ako kasya dito!! hahaha. It looks like na kapag papasok ako jan, mabubutas yung tunnel. I was afraid na baka malaglag kami nila James and other kids and ma dismantle yung buong playdium! Alam nio ba how it looks like? Parang yung mas malaking version lang ng nasa mga kiddie land ng Jollibee sa ibang branches nila? Hahahaha., Imagine how scared I am!

Sabi ko sa mga kasunod namin na kids, wait lang ha? Wag muna kayo susunod! =)

Encouraging them both to go through this tunnel
The second tunnel. Ayaw ni James gumapang kasi it only has that ladder eh.
Crawling down. It's still inside the tunnel.
Natuwa sya sa mga patusok na yan, pero napatid sya sa isa sa mga yan hence the photo.

At the end of the maze was the slide. I tried to slide while James is sitting down on my lap pero epic fail yung pag slide ko kasi I was wearing a pekpek shorts

Hindi dumulas yung pwet ko!! Hahahaha!!

This was moving pala in circular motion.

This naman was like a ship moving from the waves of the ocean.
James was not able to try this kasi he's too young pa.
View upon entrance. Mommies taking a rest.
This was the slide. James was trying to go up pero nadudulas sya.

I got really tired from the maze so we took a rest sa pool with balls (I don't know what it is called eh). I was checking all the photos when I realized that he was quite. I looked at him and found these...

He was putting the balls sa sulok ng play area until it was filled up.

Side Kwento:

I saw this car na walang gumagamit. I held James and I said, "Sakay ka, Anak!"

And then this little girl went by at inunahan si James. The little girl must be 2 yo. She went inside the car while James was halfway thru. Meaning inunahan nya to go inside. The mom was watching us closely, parang katabi ko lang halos. She was saying "No baby!" pero hindi naman nya pinipigilan si little girl. I took James away eh parang gusto na rin pala nyang sumakay, I know because nilalaban nya yung body nya when I was trying to take him out. Sabi ko na lang, "Paunahin mo na lang si Baby Girl, Anak. Ladies first!".

I took James elsewhere na lang then later on, I saw na wala ng gumagamit. That's the time I took James in and pushed the car para umaandar sya. Hehehe! Worth the wait! =)

James tried to carry this ball pero mas malaki pa sa kanya. Hehehe!

After a while, I heard the lady saying "Time na po si James." I carried James while he was holding 2 small balls in his hand. Mukhang gusto pang iuwi! =)

Going out of the play area was breeze. We just literally went out. =)

As soon as we got out, We both tried this naman. You can usually see this in SM diba? Php10 per ride. I let James drive tapos mina maneuver ko lang pag babangga na. =)

Trying to get a nice photo of us pero ayan, nagwawala na. Tapos na kasi yung time allotted, he want to go out na.

Verdict:

* Austin Land is perfect for the family who were just strolling around the mall.
* The mismong place was not crowded with kids at the time we came in.
* Great place para pagurin ang bagets. Heheh!
* The staff were not that friendly nga lang. I was asking question pero parang may 10 seconds delay bago nila ako kausapin.
* They said they wanted to take pictures of the baby pero ang blurry naman when I saw it tapos sabi ok na daw.. Haha!
* They were strict in terms of adult companion kasi my niece was not able to come in dahil 10yo pa lang sya. It should be 18yo and above.
* There were 2 televisions, one is not working.
* Ang konti ng plastic balls. Mas okay siguro kung mas madami.

Will I go back to Austin Land? Maybe but definitely not anytime soon kasi I still want to try Fun Ranch. =)
