#VPartyMidnightSeries #BreakoutPH Event

Couple of weekends ago, I was invited to join the #VPartySeries Midnight Mysteries. It was a partnership between Fox International Channel, Victoria Court and Breakout Philippines.

It was my very first time to be invited to an event like this and I am pretty much excited since I can get to bring another two companions with me! Yey!! I tagged along Daryl and his cousin Rayca.

I exchanged emails with Tracey, my contact person as she made me choose the room that I want. If you can remember, there were a total of 5 themed rooms that you can choose from. I originally picked The Bat Cave Room however, it has been occupied so I have to choose another room which was The Asgard Room. I was told I’ll be with another blogger. I originally thought that it'll be just me and my companions but then, it'll be so much fun to meet a new blogger diba?

We were running 15 minutes late and I we ran out of parking space. Good thing, the Kuya Guard allowed us to illegally park sa bangketa. Hahaha! I also had another child companion (daryl’s newphew) and thankfully, he was allowed to get in. There’s a movie marathon happening outside so your companions who weren’t going inside the rooms were allowed to stay and watch horror movies.

We were given our stubs for food (total of 4) and waited for our turn since they were still preparing the rooms pa. They were running late on schedules too. After a while, we were then allowed to enter The Asgard Room in one of Victoria Court’s suite rooms. Mixed emotions filled me – thrilled, scared, exited, and happy.I found out that I am with another Mommy Blogger Donna of Pinay Mom's Life. It was my first time to meet her though I wasn't sure if we have been to other blog events. She was with her kids naman.

As we get in, we were given instructions plus a blindfold. We were told not to take off our blindfold unless told. We went inside a very dark room and we can only hear footsteps!!! I was so scared but happy since I can get to experience something that I can only watch on screen. I kept on thinking that it's just an acting if everything gets a little scary. I was trying to make everything fun as well but then daryl's cousin was so scared she wanted to go home na agad. I was like "kakarating pa lang natin!".

We were given instructions later on and found out that it was Daryl's cousin who were picked to go away from the group and was asked to stay in another room. It was so funny since we were asked to scare the hell out of her. hahaha! We found and her blind folded and looking so scared so tinakot namin, touching him on his arms and hair and when she can't take it anymore, she removed her blind fold which she was asked never ever removed it. She was saying "Ate Jen uwi na tayo, natatakot na ako." I can't help but laugh because she was really scared of what's going on. Hahaha! I don't mean to be rude to her but later on, I told her not to be scared since it's all just an acting. With that, I saw she somehow looked calm and no longer scared. :p

We were able to find some clue written on papers and acetates. It was sort of quotes jumbled. Mainly, the game was all about teamwork and be clever at times.

I won't detail what exactly happen inside as I want you all to have the same mixed emotions I felt inside BreakOut PH. I can't wait to experience other room that BreakOut PH has to offer. My officemates and I were planning to go there before the year ends. =)

By the way, we didn't win. =( But then, I had so much fun on the event and I can't wait until next Halloween. hahaha!

They also provided us pick-a food that we munched on while watching a horror movie.

Active Fun Spooktacular Halloween 2015

Active Fun invited Mommy Bloggers Philippines to join them as they celebrate Halloween. I chose their Megamall branch and filed a vacation leave in the office. I could have chosen their branch in BGC however, it was Jami’s birthday so I have to pass on that.

Anyway, going to their Megamall branch was a breeze since it was just above where we parked the car. When we got there, I realized that there were a lot of people who joined their trick or treat. I approached the registration table and had Jami joined their spooky cute category of their costume contest.

We first had trick or treats from some of the stores on the same level. I was so happy it was our first trick or treat in a mall. Remember we had our first Halloween with Mommy Bloggers Philippines Halloween Party year 2. It was so fun going around chasing the line and going on some stores and get our goodies. Jami looked so tired already so I really had a hard time making him walk around. Good thing we have his daddy who carried him all the time. =)

After trick or treating, we went inside Active Fun and waited for the program to start. Since there were a lot of kids who joined this year, people had a hard time going around places since the event place was really small.

Jami felt asleep when it was our time to go in front and show everyone his costume. He was wearing his pilot costume that he wore during our first family photoshoot. I actually ran out of time looking for a nice Halloween costume for Jami this year since I didn’t expect it be so fun. Remember, it was our first year in joining Halloween. Di naman kasi uso yung ganto ganto nung panahon ko. Hehehe! #90sbaby

Anyway, since Jami was asleep during our chance to showcase his costume, I have to carry him and let the judges see him for couple of seconds. There were so many kids who joined they were really bongga in costumes.

There was a magic show as well as bring me games for the kids to enjoy. Tickets were inclusive of packed food and drinks for both adults and kids. There’s a raffle too.

Unfortunately, I was holding a complementary ticket daw and it should be a kiddie ticket. I was so sad, dalawang numbers pa naman ng ticket ko ang natawag. =( There’s also a complimentary unlimited ticket for the kids to go inside their playground. We just have to pay Php125 for adult’s pass.

I also met Mommy Dane of danerelente.blogspot.com and took a photo with her. We had a small chitchat while waiting for our kids and daddies who were playing inside Active Fun's playdium. Her bunso won in the costume contest by the way. Congrats Dane!! It was so nice meeting you! Till our next event. =)

Mommy Bloggers Philippines Halloween Party Year 2

Last month was a very busy month for me. I had a lot of events and errands all lined up and I sure loved it! One of the events that I looked forward to was the Halloween Party of Mommy Bloggers Philippines. I wasn't able to join last year so I can't miss the opportunity this time. It was MBP's second trick or treat events for kids and Mommies. =)

We woke up really early since we're going to Pasay pa to pick-up my MIL and Daryl's cousin, who's coming with us on the event.  We left Pasay around 7:30am and arrived at Sky Ranch at 9:00am. We have to pass by several Mercury Drug Stores since I forgot to buy candies for the kids' trick or treats. Later on I realized, there's a Robinson's Supermarket or Puregold just before you get to Sky Ranch! More choices sana. Hmmp!

Anyway, I was so excited for this event since it'll be Jami's first Halloween Party. =)

This year's Halloween was held at Sky Ranch Tagaytay which also gave us a Ride All You Can pass! I was pretty excited since I can ride their Sky Eye that I missed the last time I was there. Besides, Jami is a little older this time so he'll sure appreciate more of the rides now. =)

We started with a prayer then a welcome note from our MBP head Lani Lluch.

The kids went on stage to showcase their Halloween costumes. I was so proud with Jami although he was so tired and sleepy for waking up really early so he wanted to drink his milk and I have to carry him to the stage.

Mr. Poch Albiso was our host who exceeded our audience expectations. He did magics, ventriloquism, balloon twisting while dancing. He also conducted games for Mommies and kids which we surely enjoyed. I could tell - I can hear my MIL laughing all along because Poch was so funny! Even Daryl enjoyed the show and they can't stop raving about him at present. Thank you Mr. Poch Albiso for a wonderful entertainment. Surely, you made everyone happy!

I won in one of the bring me game. It was so funny because I want Daryl to join too pero he's too shy. =)

Our food was courtesy of Kenny Rogers, one of the establishments that you can see outside Sky Ranch. They provided a packed lunch for everyone.

Also, there was a raffle during the event and I was so lucky that my ticket won!! I won a Disney on Ice ticket for two which really makes me excited whenever I think of it. Imagine?? Makakanood na ako ng Disney on Ice! Bonus pa na kasama ko si Jami. I would just have to find a ticket for Daryl so we could all go together.

We also took our time to have our photos taken by Yeah! Shoot Photobooth.

After the party, the kids went on trick or treats where Mommies donated a lot of candies for our babies. I was so happy Jami got to bring home lots of candies. Thank you to all the Mommies who shared their candies to everybody. =)

We didn't miss the chance to take a group shot although since I am only using phone camera, mejo malabo. =(

The event ended around 2pm which gave us ample time to roam around the place and take advantage of our Ride all you can tickets. We were able to ride the Carousel, Sky Eye (twice), Bumper Car and City Train. If not because of the rain, we should have had more rides taken. Sayang, the weather was masungit because of Bagyong Lando.
