Valentine's Dinner in Ramen Kuroda

So it's the end of February na pala! I lost track of time and didn't realize na hindi pala ako nakapag post ni isang entry sa blog for this month. Lol!

I need to learn time management. I easily get distracted so most of the time, hindi ko nagagawa yung mga dapat kong gawin. Hehe.

Anyway, what I really want to talk about was our Valentine's Dinner at Ramen Kuroda. Being a picky eater, I have very small selection of food that I like. However, as years pass by, I am more open in trying different food than those that are super familiar for me. I always hear my officemate talk about ramen and I wonder what's in it that makes them salivate for just thinking about it.

When Daryl asked me about our plan for the day, I immediately told him that we'll just eat ramen. I guess Daryl liked the idea since it will be another first for the both of us. I did some research of restaurants that we can go to along Pasay. It was our halfway point and it will be easier for us to go home. I also thought that there will be a lot of people going in malls, watching movies etc., so to avoid the crowd, we went to the newly opened Double Dragon Plaza near Blue Bay walk.

I have to choose between Ramen Kuroda and Ramen Metro which are both very near to jeepney terminals on our ride back home. I was also given by Zomato an option in Mall of Asia to try Ippudo and the rest I actually forgot.

Ramen Kuroda newly opened in Double Dragon Plaza around December or early this year along with other known fast food chains. We arrived just before 7pm which gave us ample time to settle down and find a good seat. The place was really nice and somehow gives you a Japanese feel.

As I said, it was both our first time so looking on their menu gave us a hard time. Haha! I have no idea about ramen so I don't know which one I'll like. Good thing, I did some research so I pretty much had an idea on what to order by looking on their menu in Zomato plus asking questions to my officemates. Daryl and I ended up with their Set meal which includes rice meal, a solo ramen, seasonal fruit and hot tea. We added an iced tea for our drink to cap off everything.

Ramen Teriyaki Pork Don Set Php 320

Ramen Teriyaki Chicken Don Set Php 340

Iced tea costs Php50 pesos for one serving. By the way, you can choose which ramen to get along with your set meal. I got their Shiro Ramen while Daryl had the Aka ramen which the lady said was spicy pero it wasn't too spicy naman.

When the food arrived, we asked the waiter to take photos of us together. We were told that they have a promotion that we should post our photos on our own facebook profile with a hashtag ramenkuroda.ph and get a voucher of their 4 pcs gyoza on our next visit. We were also encouraged to post each so we could get two vouchers. It should also be done before we pay the bill. We participated because we were definitely happy with the food and surely have reasons to go back.

I actually cannot say anything about the ramen. It was my first time and I have nothing to compare it to. I like the noodle though since it wasn't that soft or malata. The saltiness was just fine while the pork melts in your mouth. We both enjoyed the food and kept on talking about it for the next 3 days. Haha!

Our experience was satisfying for the price that we paid. It was a really heavy meal that I have to ask for a second serving of hot tea (no extra charge). I know I couldn't sleep at night being too full. Now I learned my lesson to order ramen with no rice meal na because it was really filling with just ramen alone. I wasn't able to finish my food which I felt really guilty after. =( Yung feeling na gustong-gusto mong kainin kaso suko na talaga yung tyan mo? Hahah! I would like to also note that the staff were accommodating and smiles to you when you call their attention. I just hope they would continue to be mabait not only because bago pa lang yung branch.

Re-visiting Goals 2017 Part 2

So it's 2018! Just like that!

Grabe sobrang bilis ano?! I didn't even realize that December is about to end.

Hay nakooo!

Anyway, I had a wonderful 2017 and I always wanted to look back by writing them. Good thing I discovered the use of a planner because reading everything that I have written down in the last 12 months give me so much satisfaction with the year that passed. I have realized sooo many things and even remembered some at that instant which I completely forgot happening. Weird feeling actually. Hehe.

Well, I said I had a satisfactory feeling after 2017 being able to accomplish so many things. I had a go-go energy as per my Chinese calendar prediction and I guess that was true. I did a lot of new things, gained new friends, acquired new skills and learned new stuff. It was a roller coaster ride but I really feel contented. I even reviewed my goals in August to check if I am in line with my goals. Part of it was great and some were not. I intentionally not complete all of them based on my priorities.

Should you wish to look back, click here for my 2017 goals and an update here in August 2017.

I was able to still complete some before the year ends and that made my goals for last year at 70% done. I'll write down those that I wasn't able to complete na lang to make it short. The rest that aren't on the list are completed.

Personal Goals

  • Attend Workshops - No, I didn't attend a workshop still. Although this could enhance my baking skills which I use for earning extra money, I wasn't ready financially since my extra income helped us get back on our feet when things got rough in mid-2017. I am looking to at least do this in 2018 and save money for it.
  • Vaccine - No vaccine for us in the entire year. Good thing we only caught colds twice a year and no health issues far more than that. Thank you Lord!
  • Loose Weight - I was able to maintain it until last month where I gained 2kg. I let it be since it's the holidays where there were food left and right. Sweets are my weakness! I don't crave rice, bread etc. But sweets?? Please! Let there be peace on Earth. Hahaha! Nag uubos na lang talaga ako ng food from New Year's Eve tapos I'll go back on dieting.

Family Goals

  • Staycation & Photoshoot - are the very least in our priority this year so I intentionally didn't put an effort to it. Maybe in the coming years na lang.

Relationship Goals

  • Eat Out/Date Night/Movie together/Spa Together - Yes we had some eat outs with just the two of us and we used it to talk about some things and you know, just reminisce the old time. Hehe! Hope we could have one at least once every month or every 2 weeks. I am looking for a movie or spa together which weren't completed.

Financial Goals

  • Beef up Emergency Fund - Hay nako etong Emergency Fund na ito, taon-taon na lang. hahaha! But hey, we had some improvement before the year ended. I was able to save some although really small lang compare sa aming goal but at least, we had something saved. It's a big leap of adjustment but we were there. Tuloy-tuloy na ito! Wala na ng SANA, para magkatotoo naman. Hahahah!
  • School Fund -  No school fund yet but this is included on our 2018 goal.
  • Travel Fund - No travel fund yet since we had other much more important goal to achieve like the first two above.
  • More Sideline/Additional Income - compared to last year, the holidays of 2017 gave me lesser orders but I am not complaining. The money helped us cope up faster than expected so it was a really big help. Besides, I didn't do a lot of marketing this year since I felt I need a lot of sleep at times.

So there you have it guys! I didn't write down those that I was able to complete just so I could completely tick them off. Although I had some that are not completed, I felt happy with 2017 for being a #WiserMe version. I can't wait to start my #Amazing2018 and to see what's in store for me and my Family.

Thank you for your continued support guys! We may have a prosperous 2018! =)

Re-visiting Goals for 2017

It's 5 months before the Holidays!

Can you believe it? Sobrang bilis ng panahon!

Imagine! August na ngayon? How could it be? Samantalang parang kahapon lang nung nag birthday ako?!

So how're your goals doing? Are you on track or lost? Last month was the perfect time to reassess your goals and re-visit the plans you have listed down. The next best time is today. We still have 5 months before the year ends and for me, there's still a chance to go back on track.

If you wish to look back on the goals I have written early this year, please feel free to read through.

I seriously had some ups and downs this year and there were areas that I felt I achieved earlier than what I expected while I lack some courage to push on the other.

To make my goals a lot more manageable, I divided it into sections.

Personal Goals

I wrote down 7 goals and I am at 3 out of 7 at the moment. I am looking to accomplish more than that for the remaining months of 2017. I am happy how it turned out so far and I'll do my best to make it happen. =)

  • Attend Workshops -  I haven't done anything related to baking so far since I got so busy and focused with my new role in the office. Gusto ko muna kasing magamay ang lahat although I am looking to go back to baking anytime soon since it's almost BER months were baked goods are at its peak.
  • Hair Transformation - Eto wala pa talaga because I have a lot of financial things going on at this point that are much more important. However, this can be done throughout the year.
  • Vaccine -  rainy days are here and virus are everywhere due to inclement weather. Last year, we were able to get a cheaper price here in the office but it's different now. It's 50% price increase so I decided to look elsewhere. Good thing Jami isn't catching any virus just yet. I will have to contact his pedia for a cheaper flu vaccine in the coming days/weeks.
  • Loose Weight -  I was able to loose 8kgs in a matter of 3 months. I stopped at 57kgs since I am hearing a lot of side comments na wag na daw masyadong magpapayat. Honestly, I like my body now, I just need to have to work it out to make all muscles firm. Next move: Maintain the weight. :p
  • Read another book - I wrote that I want to read new books about finances. I haven't done one but I was able to read Harry Potter books - all of them. Next move: Read another book.
  • Be Punctual - This doesn't apply to my work at this time since we have a flexible schedule. I am part of another team now that handles back office tasks so schedules aren't that strict. Just as long as we go to work at a time we are expected to, all's good. I would like to tag it success because I was able to limit the amount of late to only twice in the first 3 months of the year which resulted to being promoted to work. =) Next move: Continue the hard work.

Family Goals

Family  is really important for me so to strengthen the bond, I separated my goals for my family. So far, we were able to reach 3 out of 5.
  • Travel - this year, we had more travel than what we have expected. Having that said, I could say we could stop at that for the year and plan na lang where to go next year.
    • Calaguas Island, Camarines Norte
    • Stilts Calatagan Beach Resort, Calatagan Batangas
    • Gigantes Island in Ilo-ilo
    • Guimaras Island
    • Bacolod City
    • Next Move: Save up for for travel fund (for next year).
  • Family Time - I am glad to say that we are spending more time together because we only have limited time everyday. Daryl started working last month so we barely see each other during weekdays or weekends. His rest days are on weekdays and mine is on weekends. Even so, when we get the chance at home, we often cuddle and make time for each other including Jami. Next Move: movie time. =)
  • Home Cooked Meals - We have been working on eating home cooked meals. Aside from the fact that we are trying to cut cost, I want to make sure that the food they eat are clean. So far, I would say it's a success since I am planning our food sometimes. Next move: Consistency in planning meals!
  •  Staycation and Photoshoot - are the two least priority of all. When our finance allow, we'll proceed with it but surely, I can go by without these muna because I need to focus on building funds first.

 Relationship Goals

  • Eat Out/Date Night/Movie together/Spa Together - Well, Daryl started working and we have different rest days so we really can't do this soon. Quite frankly, we don't have a budget for it and we are trying to live below our means so this can wait. I sure enjoy the days we spend kulitan in the house and I am contented with that.
  • Cuddle and Kiss more often - Yes! We are cuddling more than the previous year! Hahaha. I mean, we fight less now since we have one thing to stop fighting about - money. I also realized that we have to cuddle and kiss often to keep the fire burning so if there's a chance, before he goes to sleep or vice versa, cuddle cuddle muna. =)
  • Complement more - I do complement him not that often but if I get the chance and he does something really need to praise. I thank him for his hard work now that he helps with the bills and rent. I also say nice things when I noticed something new with him like hair.
  • Understand each other more - It has always been me who's hot tempered among us so I did a lot of effort to at least minimize the amount of negative thinking. When we are about to argue, I am trying my best not to let the arguments get longer or if I am being sensitive to what he's saying, I am trying to think less. Although I am hot-tempered on some minor things, I could easily forget what I am mad about after some time. With that, we kiss and make-up quite easily pero he has to get ready with explanations when I remembered why I was mad 2 weeks ago. hahahaha! Baliw lang.

Financial Goals

  •  Beef up Emergency Fund -I know! Eto na naman tayo sa emergency fund hanggang ngayon wala pa rin! Hahaha! We just had a lot of expenses the last 7 months so it was really a struggle to save money. Also, I don't know what happen but because of debts, I was so scared to budget our money because I know it's going to be negative. It turned out really bad for the last couple of months. Good thing Daryl started his new job in June which means we will be able to catch up on this part. We still have 5 months before the year ends so hopefully kahit 1 month worth of expenses lang makapagtabi kami. Next move: Save at least a month worth until December.
  • School Fund - I was really looking to pay for Jami's tuition in cash however, the second quarter of the year went quite bad so we took the installment instead. The amount is manageable and since I started budgeting the money again last month, it's going really well and never felt a burden. Next move: Start saving in November up to May for next school year.
  • Coin to Piggy Bank - Just last month, I got hooked in saving 10 peso coins! I have read a lot of 50 peso challenge where every 50 peso bill that comes in to your hands, it's invisible for spending and should go to savings immediately. Since money is tight, I know the most that I can manage is 10 pesos and so far, I have collected some that I am looking to deposit to my ATM which will be used for the coming holiday season in December. =) Next Move: Continue collecting and deposit the money on ATM for holiday fund.
  • Travel Fund - No travel fund for the rest of the year since we had a lot of traveling for the first 6 months. I am looking to save some when our debts are fully paid. Next move: Plan our next travel and save for it before summer next year.
  • More Sideline/Additional Income - we are restarting our business so we could pay our debts faster and get more money saved. Next move: Earn from these sidelines to finish paying our debts.
  • SSS Loan Update - I was able to take advantage of SSS' loan restructuring program late April so I am now paying my old salary loan slowly. So far, I managed to pay 4 consecutive months which I'll share with you on a separate post. Next move: Continue paying for the next 20 months.
These are the goals I have listed down when the year started and the status of each goals so far. I am so glad that I am making progress in most of them. It's a good thing to look back at them once in a while to make sure that these goals are up to date and will have at least a tiny progress.

How about you guys? Kamusta ang mga goals? Buhay pa ba? Hehehe!

Manila Zoo Visit for our 10th Year Anniversary

This is a long overdue post (July last year) but I think this still deserves to be posted. I have been looking for the photos that we took but I really can't find them. Anyway, they weren't that nice because of the resolution of the camera.

***********************

As Daryl and I celebrated our 10 years together, he asked me where I wanted to go. Since I have been working on our budget, I realized the we don't have a spare money to use for our anniversary. I know this day is also important so as our budget. I explained that we can only go to places that we can afford. Couple of weeks ago, we asked Jami if he wants to see an elephant and he said yes so I suggested we'll just visit the Manila Zoo.

It has been a while since I went there so I want to re-visit the place. I know for sure that Jami would enjoy seeing new animals. I also looked forward to seeing the elephant because I heard that it was too old already. I won't be able to bring Jami in Indonesia yet to see a live elephant so I guess this will be an excuse. Hahah!

We reached the zoo at 3:30pm. I was quite nervous because I don't know their operating hours and I was thinking na baka close na sila. We had a little trouble with parking since there were a lot of visitors on weekends. I also heard that entrance fee are quite expensive compared before specially for those who are not residence of Manila. We were charged Php100/each while Jami was free.

Upon entrance, we were so giddy to see the elephant! Lol! He was hiding at the back part of his home so we have to go on the side to see him up close. I bet Jami got surprised na malaki pala ang elephants in real life. Hahah! He doesn't want to go near him, he was a little scared! But good job to our baby he's so happy to see the elephant. We even saw him eating bunch of leaves. It was amazing!! Lol. I never thought I would appreciate these things. Ganun ata talaga if you have a kid, you'll be delighted because you know that they're happy and curious. =)

We went around the place and saw the hippopotamus. At first, he's submerged in the water. But later on was called by an animal keeper to make him eat while a group of tourists were inside the cage watching the hippo closely. He would open his mouth so the keeper could put cabbage and even corn inside his mouth. I can't believe the hippo looked like that, parang ang bigat ng katawan!

We saw more animals like Monkeys, Crocodiles, Hebra (it was crossed breed by a horse and a zebra), deers, tigers, different kinds of birds, Owls, Fishes etc. I was so glad to be able to see those animals again. It's not everyday that we could get to see them. I am just sad that the Lion can't be found. I don't know if the lion I saw years ago died already but we can't find him there. Also, I was told that an orangutan was there too years ago but not there when we went.

The night before our visit, I checked Manila Zoo's Facebook page to check their operating hours but what I saw was mostly negative feedback about the zoo. I was saddened and hesitated to go too but we still gave it a shot to see how it looked on our own perspective. Well, honestly, I never been to another zoo before so I don't have anything to compare with.I would say that the zoo was kind of sad and weren't maintained religiously. I hope they could look after those animals more because it's saddening to see them in a state that weren't so happy.

Anyway, for a quick getaway, you can visit Manila zoo for the benefit of your kids to see those animals that they rarely see in the metro.

10 Years of Being Together and I Feel The Same Love

It has been 10 years since I met Daryl and it felt so good to realize that all those times weren't mostly what we planned but still we made it this far.

Our Dalaga and Binata Days

It was in 2006 when we first met. Uso pa dati ang mga text mates when phone companies released their unlimited texts promos. Naabutan ko pa non yung Php25 unlimited texts for 2 days. Sulit na sulit grabe so most of my classmates and friends would have text clan. This was where I met Daryl. I just had a second handed phone from Kuya and a globe prepaid sim. Originally, ayaw ko ng Globe because almost all of my classmates used Smart Sim. A childhood friend introduced me to her clan that she's a member of and asked me to join too. I later on realized na ang daming nag tetext sa akin na anonymous numbers 'welcoming' me to their clan. Since I was so new to these, I deleted all text messages where in fact I have to reply and say Hi to everybody (Group Message). I asked my childhood friend to send me the phone numbers of the members so I could send a text to them. While scanning through, I saw one named 'Earl". Natuwa talaga ako sa name because for me, it sounded cute. Right after that was Daryl's name and number. I texted all of them with a 'Hi,' including Daryl's number.

I had then some 'text mates' after. Some of them were from provinces of Cavite, Nueva Ecija etc. Yung tipong ang lalayo talaga ng location. It tooked 3 days before Daryl replied to me with a "Hi, Nasl please." meaning Name, Age, Sex, Location which was a normal question back then. Of course I replied to him and that's the start our journey. =) Thinking about it, we didn't expect things to be this long. Meeting each other on texts messages felt that it wasn't something serious but it was technically.

Although I can't say that the journey we had was a smooth sailing, we tried our best to be strong. I remembered having an agreement that no one should ask for a break up when our fight is uncontrollable. "Break na tayo" is something that we decided not to use at all when things don't go our way.

I am so proud with what we have become. Yes, we are not married yet and hoping we could accomplish this soon. Alam ko naman that he wants our marriage to be funded by him and not anyone else, and that's what I want too. I am praying that God will bless us more so we could be as one soon. =)

To Babe:

I love you babe and I am sorry for being so stubborn, the tendency to nag you every day and the super Mommy that's me. I know you understand and that we are two strong people playing the man in the house alternately. I can't thank God enough for you and Jami. You are both one of the best people that I have met. I am always praying for your success and your future. I will always be right here supporting and helping you the best way I can. Again, Happy Anniversary and may God bless us with more healthy years together.

Our Short Side Trip to Baguio for our 9th Year Anniversary

Last month, Daryl and I celebrated our 9th year anniversary. We're not married yet so the anniversary was for our boyfriend-girlfriend stage pa. I just can't believe that time flew really fast, it seemed like it's just yesterday. #tumatandanaako

Anyway, our original plan was to go out and eat at one of the restaurants in Alabang Festival. I scored a discounted deal online which I really intended to use after our anniversary. I have work on the day of our anniversary so we have to reschedule the date the next day, 25th.

Everything was planned until 2 weeks before, I was told that Daryl's cousin's wedding is being moved on the 25th as well which will be held in Pangasinan. We don't have a choice but to cancel the original plan and use the voucher some other time. It was too late for me to file a leave in the office since they require a notice 2 weeks prior. In return, Daryl promised me that we'll do a side trip to Baguio na lang on the same weekend since it's just 2 hours from where their relatives are.

We went back to Las Pinas first so I could pick up some things for Jami. I ordered accessories for Jami online which thankfully arrived on the day before the wedding. =) Daryl and I decided to buy Pizza from Yellow Cab in front of Robinson's Las Pinas. They're the only restaurant open on our way home so we bought their 4 season pizza which was our first time to try. I just asked them to prepare the food and we'll be back after 30 minutes. We went home first to pick things up then went back to Yellow Cab. While on the car, we munched on the pizza and the half baked potato wedges. =)

4 seasons Pizza from Yellow Cab
Sorry about the poor quality of the photo. We were inside the car kaya yung light lang sa loob tapos blurry because we're moving. :p

We left Manila after office at 1am of Saturday (office ends at 10pm). I have to pack our clothes morning of Friday so I could go to work then go straight to byahe to Pangasinan na.We were 5 of us plus Jami. Daryl's the one who drove the car so imagine how tired I am carrying Jami on our way. We don't have a drive seat for him since the car wasn't ours. Aside from that, there's no place to put the car seat since the car is pretty jam packed. Good thing, SCTEx and TPLEx are now available which made it easier for us to drive up North. We arrived at 3:00am in San Fabian which we had plenty of time to sleep before we attend the wedding. It was my suggestion to leave Manila at 1am so Jami could sleep all through out the way. Last time kasi, we left 6am and arrived before 12 noon na. It was so messy since Jami woke up and threw up twice.

At 10am, we attended the wedding which was really close to our accommodations (Daryl's relatives). It was near the "Beautiful Beach" in San Fabian. Although we have to cut it short and leave early since my tummy acted up. I don't know what happen but the night before, I was having LBM na. I ate Chicken curry and Bananacue. I bet it wasn't a good combination no?!

We just spent the whole afternoon napping so we could make bawi the other night's lack of sleep. That night, while I was trying to google map our way to Baguio, the oldies persuaded us not to go because of the recent news of landslide along the way. They said na delikado daw and all. I am starting to feel sad because the last time we went there, we were supposed to go to Baguio too pero hindi natuloy for some reason. Then now, hindi na naman. Daryl said that we'll commute going up to Baguio na lang because the oldies doesn't want us to use the car.

Early morning of Sunday, we headed to Baguio riding a Victory liner non-airconditioned bus. For me, it was perfect (aside from the fact that na kandong ko si Jami which my legs numb) since the air in the province was fresh and malamig unlike here sa Manila. It took us 2 hours to get to Baguio taking Marcos Highway with one stop over. Jami slept the whole ride going up and I had some time to sleep too.

Finally, I could smell the pine trees and see the beautiful mountains of Baguio.

On our way to Baguio
I was really excited and giddy seeing that we were almost on top of the mountain. The last time I went to Baguio kasi was 3 years ago na. The fog was a little low since there were rainshowers at some part.

I guess Jami was really happy too. =)
We experienced a little traffic before we reached the terminal so it we arrived on the city proper of Baguio at around past 10am. We walked our way to SM Baguio so we could grab something to munch on and to go to Comfort Rooms.

Varsity Jacket from SM ; Inner wear from Garage Sale ; Shorts from Gingersnaps (Thanks Tita Fraulene) and Shoes from Tough Kids SM

Jami kept on running around SM's Veranda. We grabbed Dunkin' Donuts Munchkins when it had another rainshower.

Mandatory photo before we left SM

And here's my Outfit of the Day:

Top and Skirt from Terranova; Boots from S&H (borrowed from Tita Fraulene :p) ; Bag from Kimbel in SM gifted by Nanay
Oo, ako na ang nag mini skirt. It wasn't that cold naman, believe me. I thought we don't have to commute kasi we would bring the car going up pero since the oldies doesn't want, ayan.. Ako na ang nag commute sa Baguio ng naka mini skirt at boots. Hahahaha!

We proceed to one jeepney terminals near Burnham Park (we walked from SM down the Session Road, turned left for Burnham Park's jeepney terminal) and rode going to Mines View Park. It was the first place I thought of visiting since we only have 2 hours to stay in Baguio. Sadly, this was the shortest stay I had with Baguio. We don't have a private car so we have to commute our way everywhere.

I forgot that Mines View is near Good Shepperd pala no?! It was a good thing kasi I wanted to buy Ube for pasalubong.

Wait side kwento:

Me: Teka, lagpas na ata tayo!

Daryl: Hindi pa, dun naman sa Mines View yung huling byahe ng jeep eh.

Me: Hindi, feeling ko talaga lagpas na tayo! Nakita ko na yung entrance ng Mines View nalagpasan na natin.

Then we saw Wright Park.

Me: Wright Park na to eh! Lagpas na tayo. Itanong mo na sa driver.

Daryl to his seatmate sa jeep: Kuya, dumaan na ba ng Mines View?

Kuya Stranger: Hindi, dun pa yun.

Daryl looked at me.

Daryl: Sabi ko sayo e. Nagmamarunong ka na naman.

Hahahahaha! Kung nagkataon pala, naligaw pa kami. What I saw pala was the Botanical Garden. Sorry naman, nakalimutan ko na. 3 years ago since I've been here tapos naka commute pa.

Anyway, there were a lot of people when we got to Mines View. Buti na lang, the rain stopped so we were able to roam around and take pictures. =)

What a nice view of Baguio.

Mommy and Jami at Mines View Park

I look small from the top angle no?! Naku, I have to work on that. Heheh!

Daddy looked like goons here!
Kainis si babe may bandana sa ulo. Hayy.. He seriously have to get new clothes na no?! He's the type of person na hindi mahilig mag suot ng mga damit na maayos. I mean, he looked under dress tuloy samin ni Jami.

After our picture taking, we decided to go back up since ang daming tao whose waiting for their turn sa good spot. We saw the horse going down the view deck so when we get back up, we took photos with it. Of course there's a fee of P50 for 3 pictures taken with the pink horse.

Jami's shocked with the horse's pink hair. Hehe :p
We also checked the souvenirs shop but opted not to buy anything. :p

At the Mines View Entrance
We decided to go to Good Shepperd na to buy Ube.

I'm so shapeless. I have to do something about it na. =(
It was just a walking distance from Mines View. I really loved that Jami was so game in walking a long way. =) Look at him, parang siga maglakad. I immediately bought 3 small bottles of Ube which costs P200/ea. I didn't know na ganun na pala to ka expensive no?!

We have to go home by 1pm since we'll travel back to Manila by 4pm so we headed back to SM Baguio which was very near the bus terminal and took our lunch there.

Side Kwento again:

We took the taxi from Good Shepperd back to SM instead of riding the jeep. Daryl insisted on it since pagod na daw sya in carrying Jami. When we got off the taxi..

Daryl: Ang galing dito Babe, sinusuklian ako nung driver sa binayad ko sa kanya. (Our fare was arounf P70 and we handed him P100).

Me: Ganun talaga dito sa Baguio. Honest sila, sa Manila lang naman yung mga driver na hindi ka na susuklian eh.

Which is true diba? Try mong sumakay ng taxi dito, maaasar pa sayo yung taxi driver kasi hinihingi mo pa yung P20 mong sukli.

Going back, when we got back to SM, we looked for a place to eat pero every restaurant were full of people. It's past lunch time pero ang dami pa ding tao. I suddenly craved for Tonkatsu so we decided to eat at Tokyo Tokyo na lang.

Look! Our anniversary date =)
We waited for about 10-15minutes before our food arrived. Hindi ata napansin nung crew yung number namin kung hindi pa namin pina follow up. Ayun, gutom na gutom lang ang peg namin.

Sumo Meals for P299 consists of Tonkatsu and Honey Chicken Terriyaki with Unlimited Rice
After our meal, we headed to bus terminal and rode a bus going to Dagupan na dadaan naman in San Fabian so walking distance lang to Daryl's relative.

All in all, our trip to Baguio was ultimately short and bitin pero we sure had fun commuting :p haha! I promised to be back here and stay in for days. =) I won't suggest going here on rainy months. The best months I guess are November to April.

Our 9th Year Anniversary

Hindi ko pala naipost etong entry na ito since I was so busy looking for clothes last week para sa wedding na pupuntahan namin. Hahah! Sorry Babe but here it is... for our #9thYearAnniversary.

---------------------------------

Today marks our 9th year Anniversary.

I don't know if I have mentioned sometime ago here about our story so I guess I'll write about it. It deserves an entry as we hit another year of togetherness.

Anyway, after I graduated from Secondary school (High school), I was pretty much staying at home and didn't go straight to college due to financial difficulties. I had my fist cellphone back then and technically, all of my classmates were Smart users and I am with Globe (until present) so I don't have anyone to exchange messages (di pa uso ang unli text to all network back then). It stayed that way until I had the chance to talk to my childhood friend who happened to be a member of a text clan (usong-uso to nun. That time, uso din ang mga GM (group message) ) so I joined as well. Later on figured out that there's someone named Daryl who was a member too. I texted the number hoping (I don't know why) that it was my gay classmate in high school. Thinking about it now, why did I assume and hoped that the person Daryl on that clan was my old classmate?! Weird lang.

Couple of days passed until Daryl texted me back. We exchanged messages and found out that we live in the same city. Knowing that it's only 2 streets away, we decided to EB (eyeball?) hahaha something like meet up in a plaza in Pasay (too young, can't afford malls pa) and started there. Texting each other everyday, calling if there's a chance and finally being a couple on this same day, July 24, 9 years ago. =)

It's been a roller coaster ride. We had our ups and downs. It wasn't happy everyday as there were times we're on the rocks. He was in college and I was too. A lot of things happened to me and to him. I stopped college and started working while he finished his college degree.

17th Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, Subic

Years passed and we stopped counting the months and years. I just felt it wasn't that necessary as long as we were staying together. We managed to travel together with my family and I was happy with that.

Not too long ago, we had Jami who completed us. We still had our ups and downs when Jami arrived into our lives but nonetheless, he's the best thing that happened to our relationship. Thinking about how would we be without Jami, I could not make my mind. I don't know what my life is without both of them. I am so in love with these boys I can't afford a day without them.

Babe,

I know I have mentioned to you gazillion times how surprised, amazed and overwhelmed thinking how long we've been together. It's as if its just yesterday when we met and made landian. I am happy and mad when we're together. Happy - because I am with the person that I love, Mad- because lagi mo akong inaasar eh alam mo naman na pikunin ako! hahaha! I know I always play the magaling, nagmamarunong, maldita, maarte and I'm sorry for being such. You have once told me that you love me and that wala akong kapares. Ewan ko anong ibig sabihin nun but, I am happy, always happy, sometimes more than happy pa. =)

Anyway, I treasure each day that I am with you and I can no longer ask for anyone else. Your prefect imperfections were not new to me and I am kind of used to it Hahaha! For sure, you feel the samw way. I am just hoping that we could make everything work out no matter what. I know we do, because I always win. Hahaha! Kidding aside, I know we can do everything para mas tumagal pa tayo, Babe. I love you so much.. =) There were always those time that you aren't sure of what you want and what to do. I can be strong for you because I know you would when I am at the weakest too. Please bear in mind that I am always here to support you, Babe.

I always tell you the song that I dedicate to you when it's being played sa favorite radio station natin. With that, I'll share it to them since the lyrics describes us both. Again, I love you and thank you for being Jami's ultimate playmate and father.  We could not ask for more. =)

"Through The Years"

I can't remember when you weren't there
When I didn't care for anyone but you
I swear we've been through everything there is
Can't imagine anything we've missed
Can't imagine anything the two of us can't do

Through the years
You've never let me down
You turned my life around
The sweetest days I've found
I've found with you
Through the years
I've never been afraid
I've loved the life we've made
And I'm so glad I stayed
Right here with you
Through the years

I can't remember what I used to do
Who I trusted whom, I listened to before
I swear you've taught me everything I know
Can't imagine needing someone so
But through the years it seems to me
I need you more and more

Through the years
Through all the good and bad
I knew how much we had
I've always been so glad
To be with you
Through the years
It's better everyday
You've kissed my tears away
As long as it's okay
I'll stay with you
Through the years

Through the years
When everything went wrong
Together we were strong
I know that I belong
Right here with you
Through the years
I never had a doubt
We'd always work things out
I've learned what life's about
By loving you
Through the years

Through the years
You've never let me down
You turned my life around
The sweetest days I've found
I've found with you
Through the years
It's better everyday
You've kissed my tears away
As long as it's okay
I'll stay with you
Through the years

Again, I love you Babe..

Our 9th Year Anniversary is Coming

Hi guys!

Sorry if I am not blogging a lot nowadays. I don't know what happen eh. Biglang wala akong maisip na i blog. Mental block ako lagi. Hehe! Although I have written down some things that I want to blog about, tinatamad naman akong mag umpisa. Katulad now, di ko alam ang mga sasabihin ko.

But anyway, here's what I would like to tell you about.

Mag- a- anniversary na kami ng jowa ko!

Yesss.. 9 years na kami this July 24, 2015. Honestly, we're not very consistent in celebrating our anniversary talaga. Hindi kasi ako occasion person diba? Okay na sakin ang batiin lang ako. I don't ask for flowers, chocolates etc. I was like this since we were together. Besides, Daryl doesn't know how to surprise girls eh. Hindi nya alam yang mga hearts and flowers keme. For me, okay lang. It doesn't make our relationship less sweet.

Couple of weeks ago, I got addicted in buying vouchers and discount coupons online thru my top 3 group buying sites. I bought a voucher that I planned to use on our anniversary. It's to celebrate it thru food and some light drinks sa hindi naman sobrang sosyalang resto. I just want to try their food and since I can get it for a discounted price, why not? I told Daryl that we'll use it on the 25th which was a day after our anniversary. I have to work pa kasi on the date itself so we set it up the next day, which we agreed on.

Yun nga lang, there has been a mixed up with a wedding schedule that we'll be attending on. I thought it was on the 18th pero 25th daw pala. I was really sad I can't have our date pero Daryl suggested to look for a place where we could eat in Pangasinan na lang. Then we could use the voucher on the coming days. Well, wala naman choice so baka ganun na lang nga ang gagawin namin. I have yet to find a place in Pangasinan where we could eat and celebrate our anniversary. =)

I also think if we could just celebrate it this weekend na lang no?! Hmmm..

Any suggestions?

Today is a Great Day! =)

Yesterday, I wasn't really in the mood here in the office.

There can only be 2 things that can make me bothered all the time.

1. If Jami is sick

2. If Daryl and I fought.

Well, Jami is better and feeling great every day so it's basically the second thing.

Hayy.. It was somewhat my fault naman kaya kinakain ako ng konsensya yesterday. It's as if I want to finish the whole shift and wishing that time flew really fast at ng makauwi na ako.

Although, the time away makes me calm and realize things, which I am grateful at the end.

Anyway, I won't discuss na what we fought about pero it was just a tiny tiny thing. I was just really mad kasi there's a huge impact to things that are also important to me - my job.

So ayun, I was thinking the whole day yesterday as to what will happen when I go home. It was basically far away from what I thought it would be. Since we were calm na, everything went well.

I just realize that men doesn't dwell on situations that passed unlike us women. We, most of the time, isip ng isip ng what ifs. Pero sila, past is past.

I am just grateful na kahit may mga pagkukulang din si Daryl, he has something pa din that was really great. I am so aggressive and he's passive. I thought bakit kasi ganun sya, then yesterday, I realized, my life will be worst if I met someone aggressive din. Sabi ng officemate ko, we're actually match daw.

By the way, we're doing better today that yesterday and I am so much thankful. I have learned some and hoping he did too. =)

Fighting in front of a Toddler

Living in one roof with your long time partner was one of every girl's dream. You wanted to build a happy family with your love of your life. Great ideas, right? All good things possible, everything that you could think of that would make the relationship work, happy moments, bahay - bahayan.. Masaya lang.

In reality, it's not always happy. There were days that one of you feels down and the other won't understand. Assuming things work the way you wanted it to be then being mad at your husband or partner that it didn't turn out how you expected it. You consistently remind him na put everything back to it's place even the smallest things like toothbrush or toothpaste left everywhere.

Lately, Daryl and I were having a misunderstanding about random things. There was this time that he went home later than me where usually, we go home together. It was someone's birthday and he wants to have small chat with them. What I didn't like about it was, he didn't tell me ahead of time so I can also plan things for myself. Eh magkasama lang naman kami that morning before I went to work. That started the fight.. (very mababaw, I know).

We talked on the phone while he's on his way home and I was talking a little loud (maybe shouting). As soon as I hung up, I saw Jami's face a little worried that I am mad and kinda scared of what he just heard and saw.

Naguilty lang ako mga ateng! =(

I talked to him to minimize the worries he had by playing together. Then a little later, I got mad again since I remembered something that wasn't done yet so I called Daryl again and he said that he's in a nearby place na. When I hung up again, I saw Jami's face looked really, really sad while lying down looking at his car's spinning wheel.

Kinurot alng ang puso ko! =(

I was really sad too knowing that Jami can feel that his parents were fighting. I talked to him though he can't understand me yet. I asked if he doesn't want us fighting. I bet he doesn't want the idea of us shouting and fighting with each other. I remember the times when Daryl and I were joking around, doing wrestling then Jami saw us, shouted very, very loud looking really worried. Then we told him, we weren't fighting. We were just playing..

Looking back, I remember my parents whom I never saw fighting in front of me. I never heard them screaming or throwing things at each other. I never knew how they do things quietly but I can't remember any single moment that they fought. Then here I am, fighting with my partner in front of my toddler. I felt bad whenever I pictured out how Jami's face looked really sad. =(

I told my Mom officemate about what happened and she said that it's a good thing Jami is making himself involve when he see us (joking around looking like we're hurting each other but we weren't). That only means that we (Daryl and I) show a loving and happy environment that whenever Jami thinks we are fighting, he gets in the way. She said that if a toddler or a kid doesn't care if we fight or hurt each other, that means, the child sees us fight and hurt each other like a normal thing.

Also, there were days that Jami would punch (very lightly) me or Daryl and we would tell him "no, it's bad". Pero minsan, I feel like trying na ipagtanggol din si Daryl for myself like "Don't punch Daddy, it's bad". In that way, I think, he would feel that Daryl and I cover each others ass in things like that, showing that we care, love and is protective of each other. =)

With that thought, I think I grew up a little bit. I told Daryl about what I felt and I know he too realized what I was trying to say. Never fight in front of kids. Practice what we preach and be a good person for Jami.

There were times that I want to make drama but Jami kept on laughing while we're home so I really can't do heavy drama sa bahay. Anyway, I just love it. It feels good that way that I don't have to do dramas before Daryl knew what I want to say. Jami makes my life easier.. I love it.

So there Mommies and Daddies. Never.Ever.Fight in front of your kids. Don't shout at each other when they're around. It affects their developments emotionally. Be careful.. =)

The Day I felt helpless and Tired

My weekends are devoted to my son and Daryl. I always make sure that we have bonding time so I can make bawi on 5 days that I am working. There were days that we will just stay at home although there were those times that we can go out if our budget allows. Both days matters to me the most as long as we are all together.

Last weekend, Saturday to be specific, I was up really early which gave me time to cook for our lunch. I was about to make the Lumpiang Shanghai pero he wants to be seated on my lap. I had to make him take a bath and have his daily playtime with water just so I could finish what I was doing. Afterwards, we had our lunch together pero he doesn't want to eat. He wanted to drink more softdrinks pa which I didn't allow. I had to take away the cup and make tiis with his crying and kawawang face just so he won't consume too much.

Anyway, after that, he started crying non-stop. He was so frustrated with I don't know where and why. I was trying to understand what he wants but he was making inarte. Naglulupasay sa sahig at walang tigil ang iyak. I was getting frustrated and tired too because of the weather na din na sobrang init. I had to bring him inside our bedroom and turned the AC on kasi naisip ko na baka naiinitan lang. He just finished taking a bath pero pawis na pawis na agad. I know he might be sleepy na kasi he woke up earlier than usual so baka isa din sa reason na nagiging irritable sya. I am making him sleep at that moment pero naglalaro pa din, I didn't notice na inaantok na din pala ako and fell asleep. Daryl brought him outside our bedroom kasi umiiyak pa din and he thought na it might help na lumabas sila ng bahay para malibang. When they came back, he was still crying non-stop when I woke up. Daryl was trying to bring him to the bathroom so he could wash his pwet. Nag poo kasi pero Jami was making lupasay on the floor and doens't want to be carried. That's when I really got pissed dahil nagising ako sa nap ko.

When I get up, I saw Daryl really helpless na parang walang magawa sa pag iinarte ng anak nya. I got mad asking him with that angry look in my face,

Me: Ano bang ginagawa mo!
Daryl: Inaalagaan yung anak mo.

I carried Jami in the bathroom myself to clean him up. I was shouting while taking off his pants and washed him. He was still crying and doesn't want to be washed. After our battle in the bathroom, I carried him in our bedroom so I can put a diaper on him. I checked his butt to see kung namumula or may rashes ba, baka kaya sya naiyak is because of pain sa kung ano man sa pwet nya. I didn't see anything except a slight redness on her pwet. I tried putting on a cream to remove the redness pero eto ngayon ang Jami, ayaw magpalagay and he was keeping himself na nakadapa so it would be very hard for me to do whatever I have to do to him. Still he was crying non-stop. I tried to turn him over pero he would go back sa pagkakadapa nya. We did that for 4 times ata then I got really pissed napalo ko sya sa pwet. I saw may finger marked red on his pwet and felt guilty. He then said, "Buh-bye!!" while waiving his hands. Na touch naman ako and that made me ask myself, "ang lakas ba ng palo ko?" He was still crying and I was a bit hesitant na with everything. My guiltiness was talking to me na "He was just a kid so I would have to be triple patient with him." That made me feel bad and questioned myself why I was so mad that day. I was so tired, sleepy, helpless etc.

I have decided not to put a diaper on him na lang then laid him to the bed. I gave him his milk then made him sleep. At that point I was successful. I checked his pwet again and saw the same red mark of my fingers. I then put his diaper on when he was sleeping na. I felt bad din that I have to shout to Daryl.

I cleaned up a little while Daryl went out para siguro magpahangin ng slight. When he got back, we were looking at each others eye habang palapit sya sakin and we both had the urge to smile and that's it.. we were fine. Thanks to him who understands my mood swings. That made me less guilty not until I saw Jami again, sleeping peacefully.

From time to time, he would cry pero he would go back to sleep again. I went out just so I could have a breather. I went to my sister's house and had a good laugh while staying there for about an hour. When I got back I have to wake my mag - ama at 6pm and Jami was still the same grumpy kid I dealt with earlier although he's it's a little better probably because nakapag pahinga sya.

Later that night went fine naman like usual. We were happy and Jami was playing with his toy cars.

There's always come a day that a Mom would feel helpless and realized that she wasn't the superwoman she thought she was. A mom needs a rest from working in the corporate world for 8 hours, 5 times a day, dealing with traffics that takes away 3 more hours of her precious time, endlessly thinking about her husband and kids. Whenever you feel like you can no longer deal with the situation, ask your husband, your relatives or anyone to look after your kids while you have a breather. It is really important. However, it is also not everyday that you would have a bad day right? Most of the time you have those days that you feel happy and blessed and all your worry and tiredness will just go away with a kiss from your kids. Well, that's a Mom's life isn't it? The toughest job of all.

First Sunday of the Month

After I had the Realization on Living together that I posted a while ago, we decided to pack things up and go to our scheduled vaccine for Jami. We left our house by 5:30pm so we can catch the doctor before it's out at 6pm. I received a call na din that the doctor is about to leave na because her son is crying non-stop. Good thing, malapit lang kami sa clinic so the doctor waited for us na lang. =)

When we got there, Jami who just woke up, felt na it's time for his vaccine so when I was carrying him near the doctor, pumapalag na. I was planning to take pictures sana during his time for vaccine pero we have to make him lie down. From there I saw his face very scared sa mga susunod na mangyayari. Hahaha. I know he can tell kung anong gagawin sa kanya so we have to hold him down, Daryl on his upper body and I on the thighs. James was so strong he could still move eh.

Poor baby.. Iyak ng iyak but as soon as I carried him, ok na sya and he stopped crying. I get so worried na tuloy since we have more vaccine session to follow pa.. Yay!

Anyway, as soon as we were finished in the clinic, we have decided to walk our way to SM Southmall. It was very near lang naman although Daddy got tired and had an aching biceps from carrying Jami all along. Hehehe. We didn't bring his stroller because it's very bulky and it would be very hard for us to commute back and forth.

We decided to eat first in Greenwich since Daddy wants to eat something heavy. Construction worker levelz kasi ang kain ni Daryl kaya we have to eat somewhere na may rice. We were very lucky to find a seat since the store was very small lang with the amount of people na gustong kumain.

While waiting for our food. Jami can't sit still for a second.

Can't take a decent photo. He wants to be all over the place.

I soo love this photos of us. Jami was so game in taking pictures at this moment. I also love the sofa. =)
Looks like he wants to stab Mommy with the fork! =)
After the photo op, the food arrived!!

Jami loved the Beefy Baked Mac of Greenwich along with the Garlic Bread. I was surprised he ate the bread. I thought he won't like it. Anyway, it tastes good naman talaga malasa kasi kaya na enjoy nya. He also ate the pizza. Jami loves pasta more than rice. I don't panic naman kasi the doctor said as long as he eats other carbs, like pastas and bread.. there's nothing to worry about naman. Although it would be great din kung malakas sya mag rice. Any recommendations, Mommies?

He likes his rice with sabaw ng nilaga. He calls rice as "Baw" probably because we often tell him, "Sabaw oh, sabaw" na may rice.. hehe. =)

One proud Mommy! The baby boy can eat (messily) on his own. =)
After our merienda/dinner over at Greenwich, we went to the grocery to buy him milk and a toothbrush. Sira na kasi yung brushes ng toothbrush nya kakakagat nya. I bought the same one that he had before which I'll show you next time. =)

Before we go home, we went to Amber since I am craving with their spaghetti and Pichi-pichi with cheese. Amber is in front of SM Southmall, Las Pinas. We were the only ones sa store probably because it's near their closing time so Jami had all the place to run around.

As soon as we got home, we watched a movie in DVD while we eat our dinner (which Jami ate a lot of spaghetti). For our desserts, I had the Pichi-pichi and these..

It was a red velvet and a chocolate crinkles from Sabbie's Jar. Each tub costs P75 which is kind of expensive pero masarap naman talaga. Daddy wants the chocolate crinkles better and finished almost the whole tab that night. While I, loved the red velvet since I am a sucker for one. =)

I hope I could make those crinkles din on my own since Jami loves them too.. I think it would be a lot cheaper if I'll make one. Hmmm.. Soon, when I have the chance to buy an oven. =)

A Realization in Living Together

It was a petiks Monday here in the office since it's UK's bank holiday. Mejo magaan ang work today.. well, wala talagang trabaho so I was able to blog hop the whole day. Hehehe.

So how's the start of your May? Ours is fine and I am liking what is going on with our everyday life. You know, it's about being thankful of your blessings everyday. =)

By the way, last weekend was a tiring one. We don't often go to malls lately unlike before where almost every weekend, I want to be in the mall. Given that we are on a very tight budget, I wanted to use the weekend for some experiments in cooking along with some bonding moment with the Daddy and the tots.

Saturday was spent at home with Jami. Daddy wasn't able to come home.. Well, he did around 2am pero I was asleep and didn't hear his call and even his knocks na nasa pinto na pala sya. I closed our bedroom door kasi and we had the AC turned on kaya hindi ko din narinig yung mga katok nya. He just have to go back to FMIL's house to spend the rest of the night. Hahaha. Poor Daddy.

Sunday was spent at home in the morning. Daddy was home by then and we decided to sleep until before it's lunch time. You know, weekends are the best time to sleep. Heheh. =)

We went to Nanay's house to watch Mayweather and Pacquiao's fight for only until round 2 because by then, I could say na ang boring ng fight at the same time, talo na daw si Pacquiao. =( It was a sad part pero grabe sobrang boring ng "fight of the century". I was expecting it to be like Marquez and Pacquiao fight na tipong bugbugan at basagan ng mukha. With that kind of fight kasi, mas malalaman mo kung sino ba ang matibay unlike sa mga patakbo-takbo lang diba? =)

At around 3pm, we decided to go back to our house so we could prepare before we leave for Jami's scheduled vaccine. When I was asking Jami to go with me in the bathroom, I heard something na nalaglag. When I looked back, nalaglag pala yung mineral water namin! I was like "Waaa! Daddy!"

I was so pissed dahil bumaha almost every part of the sala and kusina. I was very lucky living in the part of the city na hindi talaga binabaha sa kahit anong bagyo tapos maglilimas ako ng tubig baha dahil sa nalaglag na mineral water! Goshh... Breathe in, Breathe out talaga ang peg ko because I don't want to make a big deal about it. I know hindi din naman sinadya and it was an accident. Good thing, hindi nabagsakan si Jami because he was standing 3 foot away from where the lalagyan fell.

While cleaning the floor. We have to remove the linoleum to dry and remove the water underneath.
We were finished cleaning the entire floor around 5pm na. While cleaning, I had to make Jami play sa planggana so he would not trip on the floor.

Lately, Daryl and I were having couple of misunderstanding since I can get too hot tempered about small things. I wrote to him one time before I went to bed that I am sorry for being such an uncontrollable person na hindi ko kayang i contain ang asar ko over things. I just can't, specially sa mga bagay na alam ko namang madali lang gawin. There were some chores over the house that I know I can do all by myself but since I lack time specially before I go to work, I tend to ask help from him to do things. Unfortunately, some things aren't done the way I wanted them to. I am teasing him sometimes na "substandard" ang mga gawa nya. Yung tipong hindi kasi maayos sa paningin ko. Yun bang aayusin na lang, hindi pa gandahan. Then I would break out and would say "why is it like this.. blah blah blah".

And you know.. boys thought na you're nagging them when in fact, gusto mo lang naman ayusin nila ang trabaho nila. Hayyy.. Those are the usual conversations we have at home na minsan, nakakapagod going over it everyday.

Like what happened here na nalaglag yung mineral water from where it stands kasi for me, hindi nya chineck mabuti if it was placed properly ba. Instead of us doing other chores, nadadagdagan pa ang trabaho.

It can get super annoying diba??

Grrr... Men!

However, I know that what I am doing lately (starting a drama and ending up with a harsh convo) is not right, I have to do something about it.

As I said, I breathe in, breathe out. Did what I have to do (sweeping and drying up the floor) which I am glad he helped.

Surprisingly, I found myself no longer mad a little later after what happened.

I have this attitude kasi that when something happened, I can get really mad.. mad.. super mad.. overly mad.. then starting to calm down.. calm.. calmer.. no longer mad.. then regret what I have said. That can happen in a matter of 5 minutes, believe me. It's just as if after I have released that emotion, I am fine, no longer pissed and back to happy me.

Later on, we were laughing while drying up the floor together. It felt good than fighting for some accidents that no one wanted in the first place. Although I still let him know with what I felt at that moment it happened pero in a very calmer and happy way na.

I just thought to myself,  I can change the situation and choose to be calm and happy than being the brat and would end up fighting. Well, I am happy with the first thought, and maybe he too..

One thing I have realized from the last 4 months that we were living in one roof, mahirap pala mag maintain ng relationship because you have found out what he was like every single time. Although it's still a matter of choice kung paano mo gagawing maayos at masaya ang relationship. I know I still have a lot to learn throughout the way. For now, I would want to practice what I have just discovered within myself. =)

Any tips on how you handle small fight over things with your husbands or partners?
