VitaCubes perfect for Halloween Trick or Treats

This year was very exciting for me and Jami. It's because Jami is big enough to enjoy Halloween parties. I really looked forward to couple of parties that we can go to! It was so exiting!!

So far, we had 2 Halloween parties that we attended and I could say that it will be a start of a yearly costume contest. We didn't actually pay attention to costumes this year due to lack of time. We had a lot of scheduled events this month plus Jami's 2nd birthday party so I didn't have plenty of time.

Jami and I enjoyed all the trick or treats and all the candies and sweets!

Speaking of sweets and candies, If I would have the chance to give out candies to kids for trick or treats, I would choose VitaCubes. It was so perfect for Halloween with the varieties you could choose from.

It has different flavors to choose from which I can guarantee that kids and kids at heart will enjoy. It has difdernt packaging too that you can give out on singles or in 50g packs.

I blogged about VitaCubes here which will privude you more information about how healthy this yummy candy is.

As soon as I got hold of this VitaCubes from Rebisco, Jami wants to eat them agad!

see his hands? Gusto ng kainin! Sabi ko wait lang picture ko lang. Hahaha!
Look at how happy he is!! :)
We also ate the rest of single packs after lunch with Nanay. She loved it too!! :)

Here's a free model for you #Rebisco!

Pardon the background di ko ma edit to blur the messy bed haha!

Thank you so much Rebisco and Mommy Bloggers Philippines for sending us Vitacubes.

Press Release: #VPartySeries Midnight Mysteries

Mark your calendars for November 7, 2015 and get ready for the ultimate Halloween event of the year! FOX International Channels and Victoria Court are partnering up with Breakout Philippines, the country’s premiere escape room game, to bring you an immersive horror experience like no other!

Ever since 2014, Breakout has been providing a unique experience to thousands of players by trapping them in different themed rooms for 45 minutes. They are given an interactive game where players have to team up to find clues and solve logic puzzles based on various storylines. Participants are encouraged to PLAN as a team, SOLVE puzzles collaboratively in order to ESCAPE before time expires.

This Halloween season, the game is about to change as it is no longer enough to BREAKOUT… you must now also SURVIVE! You and your friends will be trapped in a room and will have 45 minutes to try and survive the horror set before you.

There will be scare actors that will enter and exit the room as they please. Some will be nice and try to help you by giving you clues, while some… are not. Be prepared as they invade your personal space, tell you bone chilling stories, separate you from your friends and sometimes, even leave you alone in the dark. Be ready to be pushed out of your comfort zone.

This is still a BREAKOUT event so there is still puzzle solving involved. You will still choose among the 5 Super-thematic Rooms of Victoria Court Malate, which will determine the style of the overall puzzle you will have to solve:

1. The Asgard Room

2. The Casino Royale Room

3. The Bat Cave Room

4. The Candy Land Room

5. The Marakkesh (Sex in the City) Room

If the scares get too extreme for you, there is a safe word… screaming “I want my mommy” will signal our actors to back off and bring you back to your friends. Though be warned, doing so will forfeit the clue you may receive by surviving the scare. Missing out on 1 clue won’t make it impossible to solve the puzzle, but it will make it very difficult. So wear your brown pants and as much as you can, brave up!

To add up to the scare, there will be a free fear flicks marathon happening at the Victoria Court grounds from 6PM until 12PM.

The breakout rooms have limited slots, so be sure to register now through www.breakout.com.ph.

You can also visit Victoria Court’s facebook page (facebook.com/VictoriaCourtPH) or follow their Twitter & Instagram (@victoriacourtVC)) for more updates about this event.

Prepare yourselves for a scare that you won’t forget. See you there!

Jami Turned 2

Dear Baby,

Belated happy birthday baby Jami!!!

Last Friday, October 23rd, you turned two years old! Mommy can't believe it! Time flies so fast, you are growing big each day. You are actually almost half of Mommy's height now. Alam mo naman, hindi katangkaran ang Mommy mo, pero kagandahan naman diba?! haha.

You can do a lot of things now, baby! You want to play all day. Sometimes, when you wake up in the morning, you'll say "Play.. Matthew.. Play." Kakagising pa lang anak, play na agad ang naiisip mo. Pero ok lang sa akin, baby ka pa in Mommy's eyes and I want you to explore the world thru play. Ganyan din si Mommy when I was younger eh, all I want to do all day was to play with my friends outside. Nanay doesn't want my playmates to play inside our house kasi makalat daw. Ako, I don't know yet.. we'll see, Anak.

You love bigger boys. You want to play with them rather than those of your age. Although you are confident playing with other kids around you, share your food to everybody who asks "Pahingi", Go up and down the chair, play with your cars and trains and airplanes. I admire that you learned to give food to other people at a very young age. There's just one thing you can't share, Anak. You don't want to share toys to your playmate. 98% of the time, you want the toys all by yourself. I have been telling you to "Share" pero you are not listening to Mommy. No pressure, Anak. Alam ko you'll learn eventually. You will figure it out yourself somehow and I am the happiest Mommy to guide you with that.

You still don't eat a lot of rice and ulam, Jami. You only eat half spoon full and only around 5-8 subo lang. You don't want to eat a lot, I don't know why. You still drink milk on your feeding bottle which I am trying to think if I have to stop you or lessen the amount of your dede kasi I am worried about your teeth. You haven't been to dentist because Mommy was so busy since October came. Anyway, I'll do my best to bring you to the dentist this week.

Jami, you know when Mommy is mad. Whenever I tell you that you did something bad, your face will be sad then after 5 seconds you'll say "Mommy.." with matching pa cute smile. How could I resist that? I want to get mad pero you are so cute to stay mad at. What Mommy do is, I'll hold your face between my palm then asks you to look into my eyes while I say what I have to say. With that, I know for a couple of seconds, you looked and listened to me. I just hope that it would make you understand what I was trying to communicate with you. I know you're smart and that you understand what I was telling you at the moment. I won't get tired of letting you know that I love you and that I want the best for you.

Awhile ago, I can't decide on what to write about your birthday. Until I looked at you as I made your picture on my computer desktop. You are growing up as the baby boy I dreamed about when you were still inside my tummy. I can't wait to go home now to hug and kiss you. If I could just bring you in the office, I will so we could be together everyday. Don't worry, I am trying to figure out how I could work at home so Mommy don't need to leave you in our house. Yun nga lang, for sure when I am home, lagi ka din nakabuntot sa akin. Daddy often say na you're Mommy's tail daw because you go wherever I go.

I love you so much baby. Please don't grow up too fast, I want to cherish every weekends and hours I have left in the day and night before and after work. I want to be beside you and wishes that Mommy will be your bestfriend until you grow older. You can share whatever it is that's making you happy, sad, bother, afraid etc. You will be my baby forever, Jami. Daddy and Mommy love you to the moon and back. We were so blessed to have you as our first born and we love everything about you. I may not be able to give you whatever your eyes desire, but Mommy has a very big heart to love you unconditionally just like what Nanay and Tatay did to us.

You are my everything, Anak. You are Daddy and Mommy's happiness and the light of our lives. You are the reason why we're moving on. We love you to bits and pieces, Anak. Thank you for making us complete. =)

Love,

Mommy and Daddy

Blogapalooza 2015

I was so happy for my blog to be included again at Blogapalooza 2015 happening this Sun, October 25th at One Esplanade in Pasay City!

I was able to attend last year for only a short period of time. Coming from Las Pinas to SM Aura in Taguig with a baby in tow? Eh.. as expected, halos makalas ang balakang ko sa kakabuhat kay Jami. Haha! I wasn't able to visit all the booths since I don't quite know what to do. I barely know any bloggers and I haven't see one from the community I belong (they came early).

Anyway, enough of the ignorance I had last year. Haha! I am prepared somehow. I made a DIY calling card which I'll show you on another post.

I would like to see if this year's Blogapalooza is better than last year. Well, I bet it will be a better experience now that I have known so many bloggers a year after. =)

See you!!

Cold Stone Creamery, SM Mall of Asia

Couple of weekends ago, the three of us (Jami, Daryl and I) went to SM Mall of Asia to check the baby section of Department Store. I was looking for a decent outfit for Jami.I realized Jami doesn't have a formal wear at all. He has a lot of T-shirts gifted to him on his first birthday so I didn't really buy a lot for this year.

You may ask what is the formal wear for?! Hehe.. It's one of the things we did couple of weekends ago which I'll share as soon as it's out. =)

Anyway, I have a very limited time looking for a nice formal clothes because Daryl and Jami were waiting for me at mukang inip na inip na. I decided to go to SM Southmall again since I am pretty familiar on their Department Store. Mejo na o overwhelm kasi ako in Mall of Asia since ang daming stores, I don't know where to start looking.

Before going home, (we usually ride the UV express from Mall of Asia to Las Pinas), Jami saw a car stroller. He ran towards it and wants to ride the car. I carried and talked to him that he can't ride it since it belong to someone else. I promised him instead that we'll buy "SUWAKIN" (ice cream). I thought about Coldstone since I badly want to try their expensive ice creams. Napansin ko din that they were always shouting happily, having dance showdowns in front of their store so I was really curious about their service.

When we got to the store, there weren't too much people unlike those days that it's really crowded and there were a lot of customers. Maybe because it's near mall's closing time na. I immediately approached one of their staff who assisted me kindly and introduced me to their best sellers. I then placed an order and waited for a short while.

While waiting, I saw them offering the lady to catch her order. Of course mejo tumatanggi yung lady because she's not confident in catching the cup pero she did naman. I was nervous myself and wanted to shout too hahaha! I looked at those who were dining in and they looked happy everytime it happens.

My name was called and it was my turn to catch my order. I was telling Daryl to catch it for me pero the crew insisted that I'll catch it. He said he'll replace my order in case I failed to catch it but hey, I did! Hahaha. It was fun though. =)

We ordered one Chocolate Devotion for Php200+.

Here's the baby! Hindi pumayag na ma picture-an ang ice cream.

 Verdict:

Pros:

1.) The place is clean, inviting and well-lighted.
2.) Staffs were friendly and enthusiastic. They were so hyper all the time I wonder where they get all their kakulitan! No wonder there are always a lot of people in their store everytime I pass by. Before you receive your order, they'll give you a short entertainment so you'll be delighted even before you taste their ice creams.
3.) I loved their Chocolate Devotion. It's creamy and chocolatey with lots of brownies and fudge.

Cons:

1.) Expensive. You can buy a cheaper ice cream but of course, not as good as their chocolate devotion.

In total, I loved our experience with Cold Stone Creamery. We bought one to give it a try. Aside from the fact that it's quite expensive, I am not a huge fan of ice cream talaga. Nevertheless, I would love to try their ice cream on a waffle and other flavors too.

I don't look good on this photo pero I like Jami's facial expression so I am sharing this. No judging please! Hahah.

Zarks Burger at SM Southmall

I realized sometime ago that Zarks Burger opened their new branch at SM Southmall. I was really glad because I can finally give it another try. Daryl had some takeover for me once when they went to eat in one of their branch in Taft (near De La Salle). Quiet frankly, I didn't enjoy the burger because it was really cold na and I find it really big. I think Daryl ordered the Jawbreaker. The feeling sexy in me found the burger really big for my petite appetite (wow! Maka-petite?).

Anyway, we took the opportunity to dine in last weekend when we were looking for Jami's costume (I'll blog about it separately). Zarks burger is located on Food Street, SM Southmall which is at the back of the mall. From main entrance, just walk straight ahead then turn left when you see Promod. The store is on the far right, in front of carousel and Watson (before you reach Door 5 or 6).

There were a lot of people at the time we came so we waited outside and reserved a seat. They have a courtesy chairs outside of their store for those who are willing to wait. We took the chance to take selfies.

Suplado!
His Daddy asked him to smile properly so here's how he looked like after..

Hahahahah.. I don't know if he's happy or nang-aasar talaga.

I took one of their menu so we can decide before hand what we'll order.

Not a decent photo. Sorry =(
We were called shortly after and I was so happy to know that they have a lot of seats available at the back of the restaurant. I forgot that they were placed in The Food Street of SM Southmall, that means they have extra chairs at the back of the mall along with other restaurants. We were ushered passed thru the small hallway (which I thought originally as their kitchen) that lead us to another part of the resto with more seats. There was a glass door at the back that's for seats at the back of the mall.

There was a small hallway (where one of the crew stands) leads to the cashier and front part of the restaurant.
We were assisted with their friendly crew. While waiting for our order, I saw this big picture of one of their burgers on the wall.

makes me hungrier. =)
So here's what we ordered.

Jawbreaker for Babe P280.00
Candy Bacon Burger for Me with Fries and Bottomless Lemonade. =)
I noticed that I always go for Bacon whenever I order burger. Remember what I ordered at Brother's Burger? Anyway, here are my review of Zark's.
Verdict:

Pros:

1.) I love the place although for me, I found the place a little small. Good thing they offer more seats at the back of the resto.
2.) Crew were friendly and assisted us during our stay. I asked about their best sellers and was instructed on which is which.
3.) The burger was great. The Candy Burger of course is sweet. I became a little umay probably because I ate burger for consecutive days or I am too full to finish one to two fork full.
4.) I found the lemonade interesting since it's color blue. It has a minty after taste.
5.) Their burgers were really big. It's being categorize. If unsure of the size of their burgers, you can always ask their friendly staff. You can always request for your food to be taken out when you're too full to consume them all. =)
6.) I was really glad that they are organize in terms of seating. It wasn't like the usual fast food.
7.) No service charge. Our food was less than P500.
Cons:
1.) Burgers weren't that hot when served.

I was really glad to give Zark's Burger a try and I can't wait to try the others on their menu. Sayang lang because Jami fell asleep before our food was served so he wasn't able to eat.

Here's a sneak peak of what I have been doing lately. I was so busy looking for his pilot costume. I posted a photo on my facebook account na so mainly most of my friends have an idea of what we did. I'll share this to you in the coming days, promise! =)

Have a great week ahead. =)

Aji-Panda; Your Bestfriend in the Kitchen

Panda™ is a cute panda icon that conveys someone shy, caring, happy and loyal. It personifies how a humble pack or bottle of AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning fills the role of “Your Best Friend in the Kitchen” by offering an ever-reliable way of bringing out the natural goodness of food.Ajinomoto’s new campaign, which also features teen queen Kathryn Bernardo, presents the benefits of its dependable brand of seasoning to a new generation of cooks and food lovers.

AJI-NO-MOTO® comes from sugar cane, corn or cassava and is manufactured through the natural process of fermentation. This product is safe, convenient and effective in making food taste delicious.
This is because it is simply free glutamate, the most common among amino acids (the building blocks of protein). It provides the taste of umami to food in the same way that sugar adds sweet taste or salt adds salty taste to food.

But what is umami? Umami, is the fifth basic taste alongside sweet, sour, bitter, and salty. It is the savory, rich and full taste we often experience in meat, seafood, cheese, tomatoes and mushrooms.
Consider the delightful composition of chicken, green papaya and malunggay in tinola or the medley of cheese, ham, pepperoni, tomatoes, green and red bell peppers on top of a pizza. The combinations and layers of these glutamate-rich ingredients make dishes very delicious and enjoyable.

Remember that AjiPanda™, your best friend in the kitchen, will help work wonders in your cooking so that you can share many happy meals with your family. Visit http://www.ajinomoto.com.ph/AjiPanda for healthy and delicious recipes.

Cute Baking and Kitchen Tools

When I became a Mom, I have been fascinated about baking and cooking. I have been watching videos online about tutorial for beginners on how I could make a decent meal for my own family. Having a toddler requires a skill of preparing a meal for them that could catch their attention or else, they won't bother. Plus, don't forget the husband who's waiting for you to cook an edible meal. :P

I have been to groceries finding things that I could use - in baking mainly although I haven't got the chance to actually bake (except no-bake recipes). I was aiming to buy a small oven I can use for practice once our budget allows which hopefully before the year ends. =)

I found cute kitchen stuff from Sammydress.com.

One of the things that I found really cute is this Silicone Train Design for Cookies/Biscuits or even cupcakes. I actually have a lot of idea. I'm sure Jami would love the cookies when he sees them shaped like cars and trains!!

And since Jami also love Ice Creams, this TPR Silicone Palace Style Ice Mold will do the trick! I can put the ice on his favorite chocolate drink. I can already imagine how will he react seeing ice mold like palace.

And finally, this 26pcs Stainless Steel Letter Shape Cookie Models. This will be a good way to teach him letters while he eats!

There were a lot of other baking and kitchen tools to choose from. Just go straight to http://www.sammydress.com/Wholesale-Kitchen-c-146.html. They don't offer just that, they have a wide variety of clothing for Men, Women and kids section along with other beauty accessories and many more. I was so surprised with a lot of things that they cater. International Shipping is also available for your convenience.

So what are you guys waiting for? Head on and have fun shopping. =)

Brother's Burger

It has been the second time that some of my office mates had the chance to have our lunch break on a resto that we haven't tried yet. We enjoyed each others company when we're eating out so hopefully this will continue for a long time.

Anyhow, we originally decided to eat in RCBC again. We had our first eat out at World Chicken and we're looking to try Ramen Kuroda. I backed out since they have a limited dishes to try and it will be my very first time to try ramen. I didn't find the menu appetizing for a first timer. hahaha! We then agreed on Brother's Burger and try Ramen two Fridays from now (if it rains).

RCBC also has Brother's Burger but we wanted to try our luck in Ayala Avenue (Convergy's Building). It was a little far away from the office and no one went there ahead of time so it ate a lot of our time going there and waiting for our order.

Our group

Extreme Bacon Burger

Blues Brothers Burger

Brothers Burger

Extreme Bacon Burger with Onion rings

Extreme Bacon Burger with fries for sidings

Now, here's my take of Brother's Burger.

Verdict:

Pros:

1.) I love their burgers. Whenever I think about my order, nagke crave talaga ako. I actually asked for their best seller which I usually do if it's my first time to try the resto. I failed to read reviews from Zomato ahead of time since it was a last minute decision. I was told of their best burgers but they don't sound yummy to me so I ordered their Extreme Bacon Burger Meal. I swear I loved it. Probably because I love bacon and the fact that it has a little caramel coming from it that made the burger a little sweet.
2.) Their patty was really malasa. I also tasted their Bleus Brothers and for me it's cheesier. The patty tasted different somehow from the Bacon Burger although both were really tasty and yummy.
3.) The price ranges are okay with the size of the burger and fries/onion rings you'll get. We took the meal which includes a lemonade/ice tea. Onion rings were crispy too as per my officemate who ordered it for her sidings.
4.) The area is clean and very inviting. I surely would want to eat at Brother's Burger when given another chance. It's off peak during the time of our visit and it wasn't really crowded. I wonder what the store looks like when a lot of people are dining in. I just think that the tables in the middle were a little close to each other.
5.) The service is good, the staffs are friendly and attended on our request fast.
6.) They have security personnel which is a plus especially if it's late at night.

Cons:

1.) During the time of our visit, their airconditioned are broken so we have to rely on their fans which made me really uncomfortable when we enter the place. We came from a very long walk (knowing Makati where you have to go up and down the underpass to go places). It was so hot since we just came outside and were so tired. Good thing they have plenty of fans that they can provide to their diners. Hopefully, their ac is now fixed.
2.) Their lemonade was a little bland. Probably because matagal syang nababaran ng ice. Ok naman, hindi nga lang sobrnag tasty I couldn't tell if it's really a lemonade or water na kulay yellow. Hehe!
3.) Burgers weren't that hot when served to us.

In total, I love Brother's Burger and I can't wait but go back here with Daryl and Jami. I know they will love it here too.

My 52 Weeks Money Challenge Failed with Learning

Hi everybody!

Nowadays, I am so lazy to edit the photos I was due to blog kaya hindi ko maumpisahan.

Anyway, what I was about to blog is regarding my 52 Weeks Money Challenge.

I regret to inform you that I lost the challenge. I had a total of P9,110.00 before I lost the challenge. I was on week of September 20. =(

I used the money for some immediate needs and mainly will not be able to return the whole amount before the year ends. I guess I have been very magastos lately that resulted to failing the challenge but I sure had some learning from it. I learned a lot and hopefully I can manage to finish the whole challenge in the future. I was actually thinking of starting the challenge na on any month, since I can't wait to start it again. I still have 2 and a half months before the year ends and surely, I can't wait to restart the program. I enjoyed every minute of having to save some amount.

If you wish to know where I used the money for, remember my kwento about my lost phone? I bought a second hand phone (less than a year used) from a friend who upgraded her phone recently. I am enjoying the phone because it's now android and it has games on it but still, I am not satisfied with it's camera's resolution. Anyway, that will do for now while I don't have a huge amount of money to buy a better camera. Some of the money was used to buy urgent needs for Jami like the time he ran out of milk supply without us realizing that we are due to buy another box. It happened twice along with the need to buy another bottle nipple which costs P530 for only 2 pieces. Hindi ko na kasi matiis yung broken bottle nipple nya since it's not safe if the hole were torn diba? Hindi ko na matiis that Jami was using a broken bottle nipple where in fact, I have savings to cover it while it wasn't on my budget to buy one. I realized that's the purpose of my savings eh, to save me from any headache if a situation calls.

By the way, before I forget, I'll share with you the things I learned with my 7 months journey of 52 Weeks Money Challenge. Let me repeat that this has been the first time I was able to save money for myself so I really learned a lot.

1.) Savings is FUN. Yes, it was really fun especially if you're able to keep up with the amount of money that you want to save. When it's piling up, it's more fulfilling that you are able to do the challenge.

2.) Savings can make you feel SECURE. For me, I could say it can make you feel mayabang. Hahaha! Not mayabang in a bad note ha?! But knowing that you actually had some amount to cover you if a situation comes up, it can sure feel you secure and happy because you wouldn't feel stressed about money. Like what I experienced one time when we brought Jami to ER of San Juan De Dios after work. I am glad I have HMO from office that covers any emergency cases and outpatient services but still, you wouldn't know kaya having a savings will be a big help. =)

3.) Savings should be put on a secured place. If you wish to have a successful 52 Weeks Money Challenge, you should put your money on a passbook (at least in my case). Originally, I put my savings only in my bag, when it came around P2,000, I have decided to put it on my old ATM where I have an access online. It was really easy for me to transfer money from my payroll to my savings. However, since I have an easy access on it, I can also transfer money whenever I am short on budget or if there's something that I have to buy. Ayun naman pala ang salarin.. haha!

4.) Learn to Budget your money. This is something I really have to learn pa. I am having trouble budgeting money and that resulted to shortage. Most of the time, I need to borrow some money from savings pa. Which is a no no kasi when you see your account going low, nakakawalang gana. Hehehe. That's how I feel eh. So budgeting is also essential while saving. If you budget your money well, you may end up some spare amount pa that you can add on your savings.

5.) Pay yourself first. I shared this before and I am sharing it again (for my own sake na din). We have been working all along so we can have some things that we can use for a living but always, always pay yourself first before you budget and allocate your money on bills etc. With that, you are sure that the money you allot for savings is safe then you can have the rest of your money for paying bills, food etc. This worked for me. Whenever my salary comes, I would transfer the amount of P530 for my bi-weekly saving (You can check my template above) then will spend the remaining on my payable.

6.) Make it your Priority. It will be best if you could make your savings a priority too. It's as if you were actually paying a bill - your future. You wouldn't know what's coming your way so be prepared.

7.) Acceptance. If things doesn't go your way, accept and think of something that you are capable of. Once your familiar with it then give yourself a chance to grow by increasing the challenge. If you find my template a little higher than what you are capable then you can always make your own or vice versa. You can customize it to your liking.

I have learned a lot and this list is really short but pretty sums up everything. Thinking about the list I made about what I learned, my conscience says "Coming from you 'te?!" Hahahaha! Parang hindi sa akin nanggaling eh. Anyway, I don't want to bore you with my bitterness na hindi ko natapos ang challenge but surely, I could always save money even without the challenge.

What I think about along the way? I thought about doubling the money that goes to savings so I could replace the amount I used. I tried it for at least two paydays but ended up using the money again because my budget and my bills were left hanging. I also thought of getting a loan to replace it but then I realized the interest that I could have saved as well along the way so I didn't really give in to that.

What now? What I was planning to do now was to continue the remaining days of my challenge. I am planning to continue saving P530 bi-weekly until the end of the year which will give me a total of P3,3710.00. I know along the way, this will be an inspiration to continue the savings I planned along the way. Anyway, the purpose of this challenge was to mainly teach myself how to save money which I think I was able to accomplish somehow.

So there, good luck with those who are still keeping up with their own money challenge. I'll let you know what I'll come up to in the coming days ha?! Until our next challenge. =)

It's October! Jami's Birth Month

It's October!!!

O.M.G I can't believe it ang bilis bilis ng panahon!

It's Jami's birthday month and we prepared a celebration courtesy of his lola. If you'll ask me, I prefer a family lunch or dinner then invite some friends over at our house. A cake and some spaghetti will be fine. Sanay kasi ako sa mga ganyan eh, yun bang pang intimate lang. Ever since we're young, hindi kami sinanay sa mga bonggang party with so many people. Ultimately because we don't have budget for it, minsan nga, greetings lang busog na. Don't get me wrong, I don't regret it. With that, I learned to value families on birthdays most specially New Year's eve. A birthday is not complete without my immediate family. Yun nga lang because everyone's busy, minsan food na lang ang naabutan wala ng party party hahaha!

I am actually cramming about something that I can't tell you yet. Hahaha!

I'll give you a teaser soon. I am not yet ready to talk about it because I haven't made up my mind pa. But promise, as soon as pwede na.. Chika ko agad sa inyo.

Anyway, wala na pala akong balita sa 52 Weeks Money Challenge ko na yan ano?! I'll blog about it next. =)

Happy Monday everybody!

Human Nature Review Part 2

I finally had the chance to try the Human Nature Kids Shampoo and Bar Soap. Remember my Human Nature loots here when I bought some of their items online to give it a try. I shared with you my review about their shampoo and conditioner so this time, I'll tell you about their kids shampoo.

As I have mentioned here in the blog, I have been researching about the best shampoo for Jami. He was so pawisin even he just took a bath. Maglaro lang yan ng konti, tulo na agad ang pawis kaya most of the time, nangangamoy pawis at maasim yung head nya. Nagmana sa akin si Jami sa kapal ng buhok kaya siguro napaka pawisin.

Anyway, our old shampoo doesn't do the trick anymore. We have been using that shampoo since he was a baby and from the time he became active, mabilis mawala yung amoy fresh ng ulo ni Jami. I kept using it since I thought baka sobrang pawisin lang talaga ni Jami. But then, hindi ko na din matiis, I was so eager to try other products that would improve the smell of his head to a more fresh and long lasting amoy. Recently, I tried another brand which I liked because it kept Jami's smell fresh for couple of hours. I actually just ran out of choice in the small grocery I frequent so I got that product. I am pretty much okay with it. I will try to blog it sometime soon.

Going back to Human Nature, I was able to use the kids shampoo I bought last month only two weeks ago. Jami's shampoo ran out pretty slow. Matipid kasi his previous shampoo because mabula. You know naman I have a thing with mabula diba? haha. So then when I had the chance na, I immediately tried the Human Nature Kids Shampoo.

Terminology used : Commercialized refers to shampoo that you can see in the grocery or those well known brands.

Human Nature Kids Natural Shampoo
I bought the Tangerine Thunder for boys in 50ml for Php 49.75

Verdict:

Pros:

1.) This shampoo really worked for Jami. As I have mentioned, right after he took a bath, maglaro lang ng konti, pawis na and the fresh smell of his old shampoos were gone. I was so surprised that this shampoo smells really light, hindi matapang, the most of all, hindi nag aamoy pawis ang ulo ni Jami. Promise! I really liked it. Even at night when I get home and I smell Jami's head, hindi amoy maasim.

2.) It's foamy din so I have nothing against it. I sometimes use it as a body wash since it shampoo and body wash naman talaga so it's all in one din like other kids shampoos in the market.

Cons:

1.) It was with the same labnaw with Jami's old shampoo. Oo, I have a thing with malabnaw hehe but it wasn't something to worry about, mejo maarte lang ako sa shampoo talaga.

I also had the chance to try the Kids Bath soap.

Human Nature Kids Bath Soap
Verdict:

Pros:

1.) The bath soap was very mabula. It has the same clean fresh with previous soap that Jami and I use. The only difference with Jami's old bath soap with Human Nature, his old bath soap isn't as foamy as Human Nature. It was irritating for me since I want my shampoo and bath soap to be really foamy whenever I use it.

2.) The scent of the soap wasn't matapang. I can't tell what it was smells like but I know I am familiar with the scent from my childhood days.

Cons:

1.) The soap easily melts. I used it for only 2-3 days. I usually place it over our drum where it sometimes accumulate water when someone takes a bath. I think it was left there for the whole day then when I came home, wala na sya. I just hope hindi masyadong madaling matunaw.

Human Nature Bug Shield Mosquito Repellent
This mosquito repellent was the main reason I bought Human Nature product. I made kwento about it here. Now here's my take on this item naman. =)

Verdict:

Pros:

1.) I am not using this as much because our house doesn't get really malamok or madaming insects. Although I was able to use some amount when we were in Pasay for a sleep over. I would say that the lotion isn't sticky.

Cons:

1.) I don't like the scent/smell. Mejo matapang kasi but I guess mosquitoes hate this kind of scent eh. I am just not certain though. Haha!

Anyway, I couldn't say yet if the mosquito repellent is effective or not since I and Jami are mostly inside the house lang. We also slept in an air conditioned room (when we're in Pasay) so hindi malamok while in our house naman, wala talagang lamok or insects. I will give you an update once we go out somewhere dark hehe.

Overall, I am happy with the products of Human Nature. I can consider using them if I have the time to place an order online and wait for it to be delivered. I have yet to find a local dealer of Human Nature so it would be easier when I run out of stuff. I surely love their Kids shampoo since it worked wonders for Jami's amoy pawis na ulo. Hehe.

This is the last part of my Human Nature Review blog post.

Thanks everybody! =)
