Salakot Alfresco Dining and Cafe in Silang Cavite

Last month, Daryl and I celebrated our Jowa-nniversary haha! It was actually just our anniversary date when we were in the girlfriend-boyfriend stage. It's not yearly that we celebrate but this time, I wanted to get out of the house, a long drive with the family. Alam mo yon?

Kakaboring din sa bahay talaga eh. I have been working from home since the start of the pandemic so I want to be able to go out when the time and budget permit. Hehe.

Niyaya ko si daryl to eat at Salakot Alfresco Dining and Cafe in Silang Cavite.

We left the house around 3pm kasi I planned to have dinner there then we can go straight to Tagaytay just to chill in Skyranch. We also decided to bring Bruno, our male shih tzu with us because I heard they allow pets.

We arrived in Silang exactly before dinner. I am so glad we were able to secure a small Kubo. They don't allow reservations so it's on a first come first serve basis.

I honestly don't know what to expect since di rin talaga ako nakapag search about the place and it was a sudden change of plans. Lol. Talk about the impulsive me.

We were able to secure a parking space because there weren't so many cars/people when we arrive.

The place was nice. Malamig ang weather and maaliwalas ang paligid. What I didn't like about it though is because the place was outdoorsy-nature type, mejo may mga insekto pero expected naman na talaga iyon. Mejo worried lang ako because of Vince na sobrang lapitin ng lamok talaga. Nagmana sa akin sa pagiging favorite ng lamok na kagatin.

I realized just now that I don't have photos of our food haha. It took 15-30 minutes din before they served the food from the time we ordered kaya pag ka serve pa lang eh kumain na agad kami. Hahah. We ordered Cheesy baked bangus, half bulalo, Inihaw na Pork rib and Buffalo wings. The food is okay, nothing super fancy. Parang mga usual na restaurant din sa Tagaytay. The serving was pretty decent din which is good to 2-3 people depende sa lakas kumain. We spent around 2,400 pesos sa food but we were able to take home a lot of leftovers. We even ate them for two days after hahah.

When it got dark, they opened the lights on this very nice walkway with leaves and flowers, so cute.

After dining in, we went straight to Tagaytay Sky ranch to chill. We paid 100 pesos for the entrance fee and roam around lang. Daryl and Dwyane rode the bump cars, too, and bought some snacks inside. Mejo expensive syempre but that's something you'd expect for a place like that. We only spent around 1 hour to 1.5 hours there because it was getting chilly. We were blessed with the perfect weather for this mini-trip.

We went home straight after kasi mejo madilim talaga ang highway in Tagaytay at night tapos super tinted din ang car so mejo mahirap mag drive.

Overall, it was a great quick escape from work and house chores. A perfect mini-getaway for me. =)

Father's Day at SM By The Bay, Mall of Asia

So it's the other half of 2018 and long over due pa rin ang posts ko! hahah!

Today, I am sharing our Father's Day escapades. It was unplanned actually but we all enjoyed the time we spent with each other before the school year starts.

Our plan was to eat out and buy Jami's school shoes for this school year. His old one no longer fits. We were very lucky to inherit the shoes from kuya Third, not to mention the brand, it was barely used. I was hoping we can still use it this year dahil sobrang maayos pa pero masakit na sa paa ni Jami. =(

Anyway, Daryl raised an idea in going to SM Mall of Asia to break our routine. Lagi kasi kaming sa SM Southmall so since Father's Day din naman, I said yes. We arrived after lunch so we looked for a place to have our super late lunch. We chose Tokyo-tokyo. Mejo madami na kasing gutom si Daryl so perfect ang unlimited rice. Haha!

Okonomiyaki and Sumo Meals

After our super filling meal, Daryl treated us with rides in SM by the Bay. I found out na sobrang dami na pala talagang rides dun, naging theme park na din halos. Perfect for family weekend bonding din ang place, mejo madami nga lang ang tao madalas.

I have been wanting to try the Moa Eye ever since. Although it won't be my first time since we rode the Sky eye in Sky Ranch Tagaytay, I still want to experience the one in Moa. There were booths just below the attraction where you can buy your tickets. Each ticket costs Php150 per head. Children 3 feet and below are free of charge. Jami's around 4 feet so we paid full amount for him. The line wasn't that long when we were there so after 15 minutes of waiting, we had our ride.

I would say na mejo luma na rin, ilang taon na rin naman kasi tong nakatayo. Some parts became rusty na although I felt safe while riding naman. The view of the city and the sea was nice too. Mas perfect if we made it before the sunset. However, it was raining the past few days before the day we went there so it's kinda cloudy, hindi tuloy kita ang beautiful sunset by the bay.

We also tried some of the rides, I just forgot what they are called pero sobrang expensive. Each ride costs Php 80-150 for only 5-10 minutes! =(

We saw Bumper Car which we want to try sana kaso sobrang haba ng pila. I bet Jami would love the driving part pero not the waiting in line part. Hahah! Nag proceed na lang kami sa ibang rides.

Our last stop was the games area. Sobrang expensive din. Each game costs Php 100-200 talaga eh! Jami tried the duck game where you have to catch 2-3 ducks and you should score 5-10 points to get a bigger stuffed toy.

He got less than 5 points kaya eto lang!

He named him Mr. Chicks! =)

Overall, ang mahal talaga sa SM by the Bay. It was worth a try but definitely not going to come back for these rides/games anytime soon.=)

Just before the dark kicks in, we decided to buy the shoes. We went to the department store to look for the perfect shoes. I realized mahal na talaga ang bilihin ngayon ano?! School shoes ranges from Php400-2,500 na talaga eh! Grabeng inflation! Anyway, we looked for several shoes that fits in with our budget kaso hindi ko type because of the quality. I am so glad we found one, however we went over the budget. Looking at the difference, I bet this is worth it versus those that are within our budget. Mukhang madali kasing masira, hindi nakatahi, or yung mga tipo ng shoes na nagbabakbak. I am just hoping this would last long. Haha!

Happy mid-week everyone! =)

Day Tour at Stilts Calatagan plus Budget Guide

On Mother's Day, we went to Stilts in Calatagan, Batangas. I have been looking to have some beach time over the past weeks and it was a last minute decision to pick Stilts.

I was looking for a nice resort in Batangas for months and I am really eyeing the Aquaria Beach and Waterpark resort. I found an all day pass on a discounted price but still find it expensive for a day tour. I am looking for a place where we could enjoy the beach and lounge on swimming pools at some point too.

As far as I can remember, Stilts offers a wonderful place to stay but with a very stiff price. I have read blogs about it and it looked really nice. It's on my radar for quite some time but can't afford to stay overnight.

As I said, on last minute, I came across Stilts Calatagan and their day tour rates when I searched for cheap day tours in Batangas. I was so glad to see that it's affordable despite of their expensive nightly rates. I immediately texted them and asked about their day tours. The person whom I exchange text message with (didn't get the chance to know his/her name and he/she didn't bother to introduce his/herself too) was every accommodating. He/She answered all my questions and was very prompt specially during the booking process.

I want to schedule our day tour on a Saturday, May 13, but was told they are fully booked. Good thing, they could still accommodate us the next day which was on Mother's Day! Yehey!! =) The only thing is that they no longer have huts available except their cozy nook.

I took it so we could push through with it. It was very timely to have a celebration anyway. =)

I was sent an email to reserve my slots and was asked to deposit 50% downpayment. Since it was on a Friday and I can't go to the nearest bank, I asked if I could just fund transfer which they agreed. I sent the screen shot of the deposit and immediately received a confirmation email of my booking.

We don't have a private car so we decided to commute our way to Calatagan.

How to Commute to Stilts Calatagan

We came from Pasay so from Mcdonalds in MRT Taft station, a terminal of buses to some parts of Luzon and Visayas are available. I asked about a bus going straight to Calatagan but was told there were no available buses to take us there. They offered to ride Nasugbu bound instead.

From MRT Taft Station, our bus took the Emilio Aguinaldo Highway in Cavite. The bus got so crowded in some part of Cavite up to Tagaytay so better to go on their terminals to secure seats. Bus fare from Pasay to Lian is Php150+ pesos. After 2 and a half hours of bus ride, we dropped off at 711 in Lian, Batangas. We walked on a street before it and saw the jeepney and tricycle terminal. We rode a jeep going to Calatagan Market that took about an hour. Jeepney fare was Php38.When we arrived in Calatagan Market, we bought mineral water and looked for a tricycle to take us to Stilts. Tricycle ride is Php40/head.

Tip: There are other bus terminal around metro manila that you can go to. There are van in Metropoint in MRT Taft too that could take you to Calatagan for a higher price. You could also choose to go to Buendia since bus from Calatagan to Manila have terminal there or go to bus terminal in Coastal Mall (update - Macapagal terminal). In that way. you can avoid the hassle of commuting longer and save time and energy for your day tour. Alabang also has a terminal in South Station for buses bound to Batangas.

Start of Day Tour

We arrived at Stilts around 9:30am. The guard asked us for our name and checked the reservations. There was another guard shortly after and it was our tricycle driver who advised them of our booking. The driver dropped us off on the resort's make-shift place for reception. There are probably a lot of visitors that day so they decided to have a tent to accommodate groups of people conveniently. They offered a welcome drink and made us pay the Environmental fee of Php30/pax. We also paid the remaining amount due, gave us a map and directed us to Harmony Beach where day tours mostly stay. They offer a free van ride to any point in the beach for you to conveniently bring your bags. I am surprised though that they didn't inspect our bags to check if we brought cooked food. The receptionist only asked if we have cooked meals with us.

We looked for the cozy nook which can be pretty easy to find because of the big trees that served as a shade from the scorching heat of the sun.

Cozy Nook 1
Sorry I don't have a much nicer photo of their cozy nook as we put all of our things immediately when we arrived. Here's how it looked like from their website.

source
This is exactly how it looked like except that tire-swing which was on the other side of the tree. It was the perfect spot since it was close to the beach, we could watch Jami while he's swimming plus that big tree that shields us from direct sunlight. I would say that it was really worth the amount we paid for that spot. I prefer this rather than the nipa hut as it can get a little humid dahil magsisiksikan kayo sa loob. The cozy nook offered us what we need - the beach, the sand, a little of the sun and the fresh breeze of the air.

When we finally settled down, Jami wanted to swim agad so off he went with his playmate, Kuya Angelo. We were starving so we went to their restaurant to check the menu. Food ranges from Php250-450 good for sharing (2-3 persons). They would allow day tours to bring food but with a corkage of Php 200 per head for any cooked/heavy meal food. Breads, chips, spread etc won't be charged. We were considering of just bringing in food but since we will be commuting, we decided to buy from their restaurant instead. I would say that the prices are comparable to Max's restaurant however, I didn't enjoy the food that much. Although it tastes okay but nothing spectacular.

They delivered our food to our nook earlier than lunch time which was fine because we were starving at that point. It took probably around 30-45 minutes earlier than what we expected it to be. We thought it will be delivered to us around 12noon.

After lunch, we immediately went to swim in their pool. I wasn't surprise to see that there were a lot of people during our visit, it's Summer months and Mother's Day too.

The deepest pool height was around 6ft. The farthest pool on this photo was the kiddie pool. I would say that Jami enjoyed the pool so much. As long as he's wearing his borrowed vest from his cousin, he can be left alone. But then, we're not taking any risk so we have either Daryl or his cousin and Kuya Angelo to look after Jami. By the way, their restaurant is located on your right in the photo above. We stayed in their pool for good 30 minutes to 1 hour.

After some photo session with the gang, we decided to eat snacks and enjoy the beach. We were blessed with a weather that's cloudy so it wasn't that harsh to our skins. Just before we decided to head back to our nook, we saw the opportunity for some photo ops.

This was a view deck of their cottages. There were wooden tables and chairs for day tours. It's across their restaurant.

We suddenly wish to go near the cottages. On our way down, we saw a sign that day tours are not allowed to go there but everyone's so busy, we went anyway. Talk about matitigas ang ulo! hahaha.

The farthest cottage

The view
We didn't get the chance to see the cottages inside but some of them have hammocks outside perfect to lounge and watch the horizon. Wow! May ganun?

After our photo op, we went back to our nook to eat merienda. I couldn't believe that Jami's enjoying the place so much. He doesn't want to leave the water. I was kinda worried since he's skipping snacks already so we asked him to sit down for a while and eat. Pahirapan pa talaga. Haha!

I loved how calm and shallow their beach was. It's perfect for families so as not to worry about the safety of the kids. Although please keep in mind to look after them at all times. You don't want to risk their safety right?

They also have this part of the beach where beach weddings could be facilitated.During our stay, a group of men were preparing the venue so we took the chance to take some pictures.

You take nice pictures of them, when it's their time to take your photo.. never mind. =D
By the way, Stilts is well maintained. You can see it in their restroom. It's clean and has a separate shower area and restroom. It has a good supply of water and have place to put your things inside the shower area.

Restrooms/Shower Areas are on the right side of the photo
We ordered plenty of food for our lunch and brought breads, chips and bottled water with no corkage fee. It lasted us for merienda so we didn't order food from their restaurant anymore.

Jami wants to go back to the beach
It was a sad thing that this is the only photo of the three of us here in Stilts. Mostly, it's me with Daryl or me and Jami. Eto ang nag iisang photo, hindi pa maayos. Haha!

At around 3pm, we decided to swim in the beach to get the feel of it and I would say that I enjoyed it too. The sand was white and fine while the water is clear.  I was hoping we have plenty of time to roam around, enjoy the beach and the place. I know that Stilts is a really big property and has a lot of picture perfect place to visit.

Last photo before going home
We left Stilts before 4pm so we could catch the bus from Calatagan to Manila. For summer months, Bus terminal in Calatagan extends up to 6pm for their last trip due to the amount of people going there versus their usual trip of 4pm.

Pros

1. Affordable. For the price of Php385/head, the place is more than it's worth. Kids 6 and below are free of charge.
2. Resort and Beach area are well maintained. They offer a lot of accommodation for a day tour, you just need to reserve upon booking.
3. Free use of pool and beach area included in the entrance fee.
4. Free ride from your cottage to the entrance of the resort. Although you can opt to walk if you still have the energy to do so.
5. Staff are accommodating. From booking process to the actual day of our tour. There were securities roaming around and staff that cleans the beach from time to time.
6. Very close to Manila, perfect for short vacations.
7. You can ask the tricycle driver to pick you up when you are ready to leave the resort. They would usually offer since there were no ways of commuting around the area. The kuya who drove us to Stilts left his mobile number to text him when we are ready to be picked up.

Cons

1. Food tastes okay.Nothing spectacular though for it's price. I hope they could improve on their Sinigang. =)
2. For commuters, you have to cut your day tour short on non Summer months due to buses last trip is at 4pm. If you have a private car then you could stay until 6pm and wait for sunset.

I can't think of anything else that needs to improve on. I just hope they maintain the service they give at all times as Stilts is a wonderful place to stay.

Budget

You will be able to save some if you ride the bus that goes straight to Calatagan instead of riding the Nasugbu bound. Also, I put Php500 for the food but it is adjustable depending on how many food you order. I would say that it would only be for lunch since you could bring light food and water inside the resort without corkage. Bring bread, spread and snacks to save some money as resort prices could be thrice the regular price. If you wish to bring your own cooked food or grill them in the resort, you could do so by paying Php200/head corkage fee.Charge for Cozy Nook or Nipa hut can be divided with your group so it will be a lot cheaper.

Do I recommend Stilts?

Definitely a big Yes! It was a very nice place and day tour doesn't even catch everything that the place has to offer. I hope we could stay longer but we have to go back to Manila for work. I say this is a place we could always come back for some short vacation.

A weekend at Austin Land, SM Southmall

Two weekends ago, I brought Jami to Austin Land again. After my last post here, we never had the chance to go back. Most of the time kasi, we just play inside Timezone with Daddy. Ayaw kasi nya to accompany Jami inside the play area, gusto nya ako, eh there were times that I am wearing a skirt so hindi pwede. The perfect timing came (just Jami and I) so I let Jami play inside.

He probably forgot the first time he was there kasi he didn't mention any of it during our stay.

We paid Php150 for one hour of play. We brought along our socks to save 100 bucks. Adult companion is free by the way unlike any other play grounds.

I know I had my review of the place last time so I won't elaborate on our experience anymore. The place didn't matter to me that much since it was the experience that we value the most.

I was surprised that Jami was so scared to go inside the tunnel. I don't know why but he insisted not to. He was scared so we skipped that. He played with the ball pit, the big blocks and  slides for small kids (scared of the big slides).

so proud of his blocks
I am just a little worried because there were kids talaga that has a not so amazing attitude. There was this one who doesn't want to share toys, she said "That's mine!". Napatulan ko tuloy ng slight, sabi ko, "It wasn't even yours!". Hahahah! There were times talaga na hindi mo mapigilan pumatol sa kids na mejo maldita eh diba? Sorry if it's a little offending with other Mommies pero kasi diba, you have to tell your kids to share specially hindi naman sa kanila yung toys or even the place. Heck! I paid the same amount. But anyway, I am so proud of Jami because when you say he can't have it, nakikinig naman. I always give him something to play with and make him stay away from those kids na may attitude.

Aside from that, we sure had fun and I am hoping to have more Mommy and Jami bonding like this.

Will I recommend the place? Yes. It was really small so you won't be tired trying to catch your kids compared to those big play areas that we've been to. It's perfect for a quick side trip when you go to malls and ran out of things to do or just want to rest while the kids run around safely. =)

Derma Visit

Last weekend we were able to visit a Dermatologist for the first time. I was really worried that me and Jami had a "Ringworm".

Check nyo si google what the ringworm is.

Kita nyo na?

Yeah, exactly like that. The appearance is similar to mine and Jami so I got worried! Mine looked really serious and itchy. I have to postpone the visit until last weekend because I have to work on weekdays. I also noticed that it got 100% bigger on Jami's arm so we really have to go.

On the day of our visit, mine looked healed. Natanggal na yung skin but still gets very itchy. So I have decided to get Jami checked instead of us both.

We went to SM Southmall in the afternoon and decided to have our late lunch there.

While waiting for our food

We ate at Mang Inasal na lang para unlimited Rice :D
Wag kayo mag alala, si Daryl lang ang nag unli rice. Pramis! Hahaha.

We headed straight to Casa Medica Inc and waited for the doctor to arrive. We realized that she was running late and we were at number 11 so we decided to roam around at Cyberzone. I was trying to check how much yung mejo cheap na tablet for Jami but found out na even Huawei costs Php5,000. Grabe ang mahal na ng bilihin nowadays. Lol! We checked some phones too like Oppo F1s and it looked really nice, I mean the Camera.

After around 30 minutes, we went back to the clinic and was delighted that the Dermatologist have arrived. We had some bonding moments while waiting for our turn. If you wish to check it, follow me @its_mommy_jen on instagram.

When we were called, I showed Jami's alleged "ringworm" and was told that it wasn't a ringworm. It was a bacterial infection so she prescribed a soap and a cream that we should use for 5 to 7 days. I was also told that if it got worse after 3-4 days, we should bring Jami back to her.

I was so surprised with the amount of the cream and soap! Grabe lang. Hahaha! Although I somehow expected it that it will be expensive, na shock pa din ako. Lol! It costs Php595 for both but then, if it's for our wellness naman diba, then it's nothing. I was asked to put the same cream to cure the wound.

I am so glad to report that's it's getting better (dapat lang!). I am hoping mine won't leave a scar kasi obvious eh. :)

Weekend Blast

Last weekend was our first swim for 2017. Heheh! Makigaya lang sa mga post ng mga tao sa FB about their firsts for this year. =P

Daryl and I decided to have a sleepover at Mama Belen's condo just so Jami will get the chance to go out that week. He was left in the house with Nanay so to ease the boredom and mejo maka refresh lang sa kanya, it was a great escape.

Hahahah! Please disregard Daryl, I didn't have an idea na naka nganga sya, until I saw the photo! Hehe wacky kung wacky talaga. Angelo was there too. He was the kid beside Jami. Super BFF silang dalawa.

We had some fun using an app Boomerang as well. I just don't know how to share it here in the blog but if you wish to check the videos, go follow me at @its_mommy_jen on instagram.

Since we arrived late in the afternoon, we decided to skip the night and swim the next morning instead. Given the very cold weather today, ang hirap maligo without hot water. Hehe.

The next day, we woke up around 10am, had some bread and off to a nearby karinderya. Daryl wanted to bring me here since last year. He kept on telling me na okay daw dito, maganda daw etc. So I guess I'll give him this day to bring me to this karinderya. Hehe. Although madalas na namin nadadaanan to, I never get the chance to try their menus and hang out there at all. I think he and his friends ate there couple of times and they loved that there was a videoke and very small airconditioned room for those who wishes to sing their heart out.

We were able to buy our ulam the night before from this Karinderya so I pretty much got familiar with the place. It was maaliwalas so it's a really good start. We dined in for lunch time so well ventilated ang place. We ordered Sinigang na Buto-buto for me and Jami, Bagnet with Rice for Daryl and Hotsilog for Angelo. We decided to sit inside their airconditoned (very small) room for Jami's convenience.

I would say their ulam is just normal. Mas masarap pa luto ng byenan ko but I was thrilled with their Mango Shake. Daryl insisted that I'll try their shake so I ordered one.

Mango Shake for 55 pesos!
I was amazed. It has whipped cream kaya mejo nag iba ang lasa. I was amazed in a sense na with this serving, it's 55 pesos only! Hehe. Although if they could just make a longer straw to come with it, mas okay. Mejo malalim kasi yung lalagyan so it's better if they have a longer straw.

After we ate, we went swimming na agad. Mga excited lang talaga.

I was so glad to see Jami swimming in the water kahit malamig ang weather. Mahangin that time but look at him, he's smiling and all. I kept on asking if he's feeling cold so we can stop na but he said he wasn't until I noticed that he's starting to chill so I said stop na talaga kami and he didn't throw tantrums at all. Ayan lang naman ang maganda sa batang yan, he knows how to compromise. Lol! =)

We had a 3 days weekend last week and I was hoping we could spend time in the mall - watch movies, dine out and shop but I guess, simple weekends like these do matter a lot. Just as long as everyone is happy, it's all worth it. =)

Serenitea at SM Southmall

Couple of months ago, I bought a voucher from Deal Grocer. This was to try Milk Teas. I am really curious how it tastes. Despite the breaking news of a lady and the owner of the milk tea who died by drinking the milk teas, I still wanted to give them a try.

I never get the chance to use the voucher until last weekend after we brought Jami to his pedia.

Making kulit while waiting for our turn
I asked Daryl if we could go to SM Southmall so I can use my Serenitea voucher. He said yes since wala naman sya magagawa hahahaha! Thanks Babe.

SM Southmall is being renovated so I am no longer familiar with some of the stores that just opened. Wait, side kwento lang! I am really impressed in SM Southmall, months ago, they opened a Forever 21 store and Uniqlo. Now they are soon going to open H&M and Mango! Wow, sumashala levels na ang SM Southmall talaga. Haha! For sure kung wala pa akong anak, malamang dun na ako nakatira every payday. =)

Anyway, it wasn't my first time to try Milk tea talaga. I had a chance to try one when we had our stop over in NLEX the last time we went to Pangasinan. Before going back to the car, we passed by Mang Chaa Milk Tea. To my eagerness to try a milk tea, I have decided to buy one since hindi naman expensive - around P70 only.

That photo was taken last Friday at SMX as my sister and I visited the sort of travel expo.

Mang Chaa Wintermelon Milk Tea with Pearl
Went crazy over cheap seat sale for Batanes. Pero fail ang mission. Hehe
Going back, we went to SM Southmall. I wasn't quite familiar on the lower level due to the newly established restos there. I have to check them next time, I guess.

Serenitea is in front of the elevator beside Bowling Center. I was surprised to see they weren't just a stall but a physical store where you can sit down, read a book while enjoying your milk tea.

When I enter the store, I can smell teas. Thinking about it makes me crave for wintermelon again. I guess that's my favorite drink as of the moment. There were a lot of people waiting for their orders too. Since it's my first time to try them, I wasn't quite familiar with their menu. I was so glad that when it was my turn, nawala yung mga tao. Hahah! I took my time checking their menu while the crew checked my voucher.

I know I'll get their Wintermelon Milk tea so I asked Daryl what he wanted to try. He's not familiar with milk teas to so I am in charge in giving him something that he might like. Hmm... I ran out of ideas talaga, we're not a tea drinker so I don't have a single idea on what would taste great. I asked the crew of their best seller and he offered to try Okinawa. Hmm,., Sounds interesting so I said Yes. Hehe!

Wefie while waiting for our order. Look how payat Jami became after being sick for the last couple of weeks. =(
Then our order came.

1 Wintermelon in Large with Pearls and Grass Jelly
1 Okinawa with Pearl
2 Hash Browns

I originally ordered Wintermelon with Pearl. I added the grass jelly for P10 since my order's short for my voucher's amount. When my order came, grass jelly lang and walang pearl yung wintermelon ko! Parang gusto kong maiyak pero hindi na ako nag reklamo pa. The kuya looked really pressured because it sounded like hindi nya alam kung paano iki key in ang voucher on his system then humahaba na ang line sa likod ko.

Verdict:

Pros:

1.) I love the interior of their store. I can imagine myself enjoying my wintermelon while reading/blogging.  The smell of tea is very relaxing too although it can get a little crowd kapag
2.) Okinawa tasted like Wintermelon so I could consider that next time I'll order. I think their Wintermelon tasted the same with Mang Cha-a mas sweeter lang ang sa Mang Cha-a.
3.) Using my Deal Grocer voucher with them was a breeze. I just have to present my voucher and sign the paper, that's it.
4.) I was surprised that they have hash browns so I ordered two. Daryl liked their Hash brown because it's flavorful though I found it too salty for Jami.

Cons:

1.) I should have enjoyed my drink more kung nakinig si kuya sa order ko.
2.) Hash brown was so flavorful bagay lang sa tea but I wish hindi sobrang salty.

Anyway, I loved how my short visit in Serenitea went. I think they're on sale again at Deal Grocer so I guess I'll buy another one. You'll never know when you need to buy a milk tea during mall hours. Hehe. =)
