Gone are Those Rashes

Happy April Fools peeps!! Grabe ang bilis ng panahon April na agad! Sooner December na yan. Ay, October pa pala, first birthday ni James so don’t miss that out ha?! :)

Summer has come our way na talaga!! It’s so effin hot outside. I am blessed this week kasi my shift has changed back to morning, from 7am to 4pm. Just for this week lang ah?! I don’t know with the coming weeks. Last time nga I had the worst shift eh. Isipin mo 2:15pm ang pasok ko?! Grabe feeling ko sunog na sunog ako sa araw! Nung mga nakaraan ang lamig tapos nowadays naman sobrang init! Hayy.. Global warming talaga!

If I am that lucky this week na hindi ako naiinitan sa kasagsagan ng araw, naaawa naman ako kay James. Sobrang init kasi. He had rashes sa face and sa leeg and some other part of his legs. At first, I was blaming my brothers kasi pinanggigigilan nila si James and they kisses him with their balbas and bigote on his face. Those rashes turns red kasi minsan kinukuskos nya ang face niya. James never had a diaper rash, believe me. Since he was born, direcho diaper lang. I had those cloth diapers kaya lang isang wiwi lang nya, change na agad ang peg. I always make sure na I clean his genitals properly kahit na magpapalit lang sya ng diaper dahil puno na. I seldom use baby wipes din. I had a lot of baby wipes sa bahay na binigay ng mom ni Daryl that I have not used yet kasi nga I prefer water and cotton to clean him up kesa sa baby wipes. I only use one kapag nasa mall kami then now, then suddenly, may rashes na sya all over his face pa talaga ha?! Nakakasad talaga.

I remembered when he was a baby boy pa, he had those rashes din sa noo pero nawala agad kasi a friend told me na effective daw ang breast milk ng mother sa insect bites so I put a drop or two sa forehead nya dati and let it dry. Viola… Nawala din agad when he took a bath the next day.

So My problem last week was wala na akong breastmilk para mapagaling ang maraming rashes niya sa face. Good thing, both my sisters had this cream na nireseta rin ng doctors sa mga pamangkin ko if they have diaper rash. I was hesitant kasi nga for diaper rash yun so pang pwet nga diba. I don’t want to put the cream kasi baka lalong lumala ang rashes nya eh sa muka pa naman. Sayang naman ang kagwapuhan ng baby ko kung ganun!

Dadang said na lagyan ko na nga daw yung one side lang ng face nya for me to see kung effective ba ito or not. At least if there will be a problem eh di hindi yung buong mukha diba?!

I put some cream na manipis na manipis lang na coat sa forehead nya. Then I observed for couple of minutes then parang wala naman reaction so I placed a thin coat sa cheeks and sa may chin nya. The next day, parang natuyo yung mga rashes. They don’t turn red na. I put another thin coat for 2 consecutive days at ayun, awa ng Dyos at magaling na ang mga rashes sa face nya.

I think those aren’t because of the rashes due to balbas and bigote lang but the weather na din. I don’t want to say na baka bungang-araw kasi minsan pinagpapawisan din naman sya sa likod but he didn’t got rashes there, sa leeg lang and legs and face – those were the areas kung san sya madalas kinikiss. Hayy.. kawawang bata.

Anyway, here’s the cream that I used to treat his rashes. I really have to buy one of these kasi it was really helpful in times like this. It can be put in the fridge na lang after use kasi it will be best to be apply on rashes if it’s cold eh. Dadang bought one 3 years ago and it got expired just this April so I have to buy one na for James. You will spend P200 for it pero ganun katagal mo naman magagamit diba?! Good find! :)

sourceP.S. I remembered the water being used pala on Ate's subdivision was deep well. Do you think that caused his rashes din kasi when he stayed there, dun lang naglabasan ang rashes nya?
