My Choice of Diaper + Promo

When I packed my bag that I’ll bring to the hospital when I gave birth, I didn’t bother buying a newborn diaper because Daryl’s mom had 4 huge packs of disposable diaper for James. I was expecting that James will not fit on newborn diapers kasi ang daming nagsasabi sakin na malamang malaki daw si James. As soon as I gave birth, the hospital never asked for baby stiffs unlike what I was told na kelangan ko maghanda ng mga gamit nya. Probably because it was a private hospital so I really don’t have to make an effort on baby’s first kit. Even so, I was prepared for it. We took home the left over things that they used for James din naman so sulit na lang din ang binayad ko dun. I had some EQ Dry Newborn diapers, 400g of Nan Pro 1 (that’s what his pedia gave him kasi I was not able to breastfed on the first 3 days in the hospital) etc.

James has been using EQ Diaper na. I liked it so much kasi. He was hiyang sa diaper that he never had any rashes on it. At the same time, it has a breathable cloth like cover kaya hindi sya mainit sa pakiramdam lalo na ngayon tag init pa naman! It also has a magic tape so pwede mong ikabit ulit after. There are times kasi na James has not peed on the diaper too much, yung tipong isang ihi pa lang, saying naman kung itatapon agad, so I let him reuse it then after a while, hugas then change to a new diaper. What I like best about EQ Dry is that hindi nagugutay – gutay yung laman ng diaper, yung parang mga bulak sa loob. I had this diaper kasi mom bought sa kapitbahay na nagbuobuo yung mga cottons inside ng diaper so parang ang chakadoodle tingnan. I have been using it from newborn size until now na Large na ang pinapasuot ko. Mas matipid kasi dahil mas matagal mapuno kesa mag medium na sakto lang sa kanya , pero maya’t maya naman ang palit. This was so affordable din. The last time I had was the travel pack in 16 pieces for P136.60 sa Puregold. Bongga na diba? Sa kapitbahay kasi namin, they sell it for P10 each. Ang laki ng tubo grabe!!!

Anyway, I saw this flyer sa pack ng EQ Diaper na they have an ongoing promo “ Make Baby’s Dream Birthday Party  Come True”

A.                  PURCHASE REQUIREMENTS:

1.       You can participate in the nationwide raffle promo by submitting the required number of EQ packs such as EQ Plus with soft cottony cover, EQ Colors and EQ Dry with magic tapes in an envelope, together with the following information: name, address, contact numbers, e-mail address if any, signature and your baby’s name and birthday on a piece of paper.

2.       You can submit your entries through drop boxes at a) drop boxes at major McDonalds Stores; and b) mailing or hand-carrying to JS Unitrade (JSU) Office at the following branches:

a.       For GMA, North and South Luzon Entries

2.       • Only EQ Plus with soft cottony cover and EQ Dry with magic tape wrappers will be accepted

3.       Your entry should contain the number of corresponding EQ packs. Chosen entry with incomplete number of packs will be disqualified.

§  Only entire wrappers will be accepted.

§  Entries containing soiled wrappers (wrappers contaminated with feces or mud, discolored or faded wrappers) or wrappers with erased number points will NOT be honored.

B.      RAFFLE PRIZES: Each winner will receive one (1) McDonalds Birthday Party Certificate worth Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000).

C.      DRAW SCHEDULES:

1.       Entries will be classified into five (5) areas: GMA, North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

2.       Deadline for submission of all entries, the corresponding draw dates and number of winners are as follows:

3.       • All entries received after the deadline (for McDonalds stores and JS Unitrade offices) will be included in the succeeding draws.

• Mailed entries for Grand Draw will be accepted until 5PM of April 25, 2013 only.

4.       All entries will be drawn at the following JSU Offices at 9AM and will be attended by JSU and DTI representatives.

a.       For GMA and Luzon entries- JS Unitrade Manila

b.      For Visayas entries- JS Unitrade Cebu

c.       For Mindanao entries- JS Unitrade CDO

1.       For the 1st and 2nd Monthly Draws, 15 winners of Free McDonalds Birthday Party Packages will be drawn per area. For the Grand Draw, 30 winners of Free McDonalds Birthday Party Packages will be drawn per area.

2.       Promo Participants can only win once within the entire promo duration. Non-winning entries in the 1st draw will be carried over in the 2nd Monthly Draw. While the non- winning entries in the 1st and 2nd Monthly Draws will still be included in the Grand Draw.

D.      CLAIMING OF PRIZES:

1.       Winners in the 1st & 2nd Monthly Draws and Grand Draw will be announced in the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

2.       Within a week after each draw, all winners will be informed through a notification of registered mail.

3.       Winners can claim their McDonalds Birthday Party Certificates within 60 days from receipt of the registered mail at any JSU office near their location. For winners from remote areas, JSU will arrange for the delivery of the prizes through registered mail. All unclaimed gift certificates after the redemption period shall be forfeited in favor of JS UNITRADE with prior DTI approval.

4.       Winners will be asked to present their notification letter plus 2 valid IDs (e.g., driver’s license, SSS/GSIS card, passport ID, student ID, company ID) for verification purposes.

5.       Winners can use their birthday party certificates at their chosen participating McDonalds party store from March 18, 2013 to December 31, 2014 only.

6.       Prizes are transferable but not convertible to cash.

7.       Employees of JS UNITRADE and MCDONALDS, their advertising agencies and suppliers, including their relatives up to second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the raffle promo.

E.       CONTROL MEASURES:

1.       For the 1st Monthly Draw, drop boxes shall be collected one day after the deadline for dropping of entries by a 3rd party agency of JS UNITRADE and brought to respective warehouses (GMA, Cebu and CDO) for safe keeping under custody of a JS UNITRADE personnel. A DTI representative will be invited to be present during the opening of the drop boxes and drawing of winners.

2.       For the 2nd Monthly Draw, drop boxes shall be collected twice – after the 2 nd week and one day after the deadline for dropping of entries by a 3rd party agency of JS UNITRADE and brought to respective warehouses (GMA, Cebu and CDO) for safe keeping under custody of a JS UNITRADE personnel. A DTI representative will be invited to be present during the opening of the drop boxes and drawing of winners.

3.       For the Grand Draw, drop boxes shall be collected twice before the deadline of entries and one day after the deadline for dropping of entries by a 3 rd party agency of JS UNITRADE and brought to respective warehouses (GMA, Cebu and CDO) for safe keeping under custody of a JS UNITRADE personnel. A DTI representative will be invited to be present during the opening of the drop boxes and drawing of winners.

Bakit ngayon ko lang nalaman to? Hmmm.. Siguro dahil sa 2 months akong nakatipid sa pagbili ng diaper dahil sa 4 huge packs na diaper galling kina Daryl. Teka makakahabol pa ako eh! 

Anyway, Tamang – tama lang ito, mejo kinakabahan na kasi ako sa 1^st birthday ni James! Sakto ang promo na itey! Hahaha.

By the way, It might be with the way James was taken care of din talaga kaya di sya nagkaka rashes kasi as I said here for the nth time, na I always clean his genitals with clean cotton and water. I only use baby wipes kapag nasa galaan kami then when we come home, balik sa cotton+water lang. You may have the best diaper in the world pero hindi mo naman nililinis eh di wala din diba? So mommies out there, don’t foget to make sure na clean and dry ang kanilang pwet and putoytoy or vajayjay ha?! Hehehe.
